BEIJING -- Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has stressed developing archaeology to better understand the long-standing and profound Chinese civilization.
Xi made the remarks Monday while presiding over a group study session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee on the latest archaeological discoveries in China and their significance.
