National Supercomputing Center in Zhengzhou Passes Acceptance Inspection
国家超级计算郑州中心通过验收
On October 31, the National Supercomputing Center in Zhengzhou successfully passed the acceptance inspection carried out by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. It is not only the 7th national supercomputing center approved for construction in China, but also the first one approved after the implementation of accreditation criteria set by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. Huo Jinhua (vice-governor of Henan Province) and Liu Jiongtian (vice-chairman of the CPPCC Henan Provincial Committee, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, president of Zhengzhou University) attended the meeting.
10月31日，国家超级计算郑州中心建设项目顺利通过科技部组织的专家验收。这是全国第7家批复建设的国家超级计算中心，也是科技部出台认定管理办法后批复建设的首家国家超级计算中心。副省长霍金花，省政协副主席、中国工程院院士、郑州大学校长刘炯天等出席了验收会。
The National Supercomputing Center in Zhengzhou has experienced a short construction period for the completion of machine room and the installation and debugging of host system since the approval in April 2019. With a theoretical peak performance of 100Pflops (1Pflops is equal to 1 thousand trillion floating-point operations per second) and a memory capacity of 100PB, the host system has been tested by China’s top 100 high performance computers and found to be at the forefront of international technology in terms of continuous performance.
自2019年4月国家批复筹建以来，国家超级计算郑州中心建设项目加快推进，在较短时间内机房建设全部完成，主机系统安装调试完毕，配备的新一代高性能计算机峰值计算能力达到100Pflops（1Pflops等于每秒一千万亿次的浮点运算），存储容量为100PB，经中国高性能计算机性能TOP100专家组鉴定，主机系统测试实际持续性能居国际同期前列。（中文来源/河南日报 翻译/任晶晶 赵汉青 审校/丁岚）
