First 1,139 Tons of Barley from Central Asian to Arrive in Zhengzhou by China-Europe Freight Train

新突破!1139吨中亚大麦将首次乘中欧班列运抵郑州

 

A China-Europe freight train loaded with 1,139 tons of barley departed from Kazakhstan on November 5, bound for Zhengzhou city and scheduled to arrive in 15 days.

大河网讯 11月5日,满载1139吨大麦的中欧班列(郑州)粮食专列从哈萨克斯坦发出,预计15天后便可抵达郑州。

It means that Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co., Ltd (ZIH for short), operator of the China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou), has made a new breakthrough in grain import channels improvement for the west-bound international freight train with enriched grain varieties besides mung beans. By the end of October this year, more than 11,590 tons of grain had been transported, with a value of approximately US $8 million.

至此,作为中欧班列(郑州)主体运营单位的郑州国际陆港开发建设有限公司(简称陆港公司)在拓展西向国际货运班列的粮食进口渠道又取得新突破,货物运输种类除绿豆运输外进一步丰富,截至2020年10月底已累计承运粮食11590多吨,货值约800万美元。

 

Relying on the China-Europe freight train, the inland grain industry has seamlessly connected with the international industrial chain, which has not only enabled the grain importers in China’s central and western regions to shorten the delivery time, reduce cost and expand channels besides coastal ports, but promoted the optimization and upgrading of Henan’s agricultural industrial structure as well as the high-quality development of agriculture. In addition, it has boosted logistics, processing trade and commodity distribution across the province by meeting the needs of development for central and western China.

依托中欧班列,内陆地区实现了粮食产业无缝衔接国际产业链,改变了过去中西部地区粮食进口企业仅能依赖沿海口岸进口的局面,大大缩短了交货周期,为采购企业节约了时间和成本,进一步推动了我省农业产业结构优化升级和高质量发展。同时,除了满足河南的需求以外,还辐射到中西部以及其他区域,极大地拉动了河南物流、加工贸易和商品流通发展。

 

According to ZIH, 29 “food trains”, including 8 for barley, are scheduled to run in the fourth quarter of 2020 in order to integrate into global industrial and trade chains of agriculture, build an international logistics hub for imported grain, give full play to the role of the “Land Silk Road” (being unique and of strategic importance) in promoting the recovery and reconstruction of global supply chain, and better serve the Belt and Road Initiative.

据陆港公司相关负责人介绍,2020年四季度计划发运粮食专列达29列,其中计划发运大麦专列8列,进一步广泛而深入地融入全球农业产业链和贸易链,积极打造进境粮食国际物流中心,为推进全球供应链的恢复和重构发挥“陆上丝绸之路”独特的安全战略通道作用,更好服务于国家“一带一路”建设大局。(中文来源/大河网 记者/祝传鹏 翻译/赵汉青 审校/丁岚)
