In the post-pandemic era, what new types of cooperation will Henan and Turkmenistan expect for mutual benefit? On the afternoon of January 7, Henan and Turkmenistan representatives had an in-depth and fruitful negotiation via videoconference on multi-faceted cooperation in the extended fields of import and export trade, deep processing of agricultural products, sericultural industry, etc.

According to Li Bing, deputy director-general of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Henan Province, Parahat Hommadovich Durdyev, Turkmenistan ambassador to China, attended the Forum on Agricultural Cooperation between China (Henan) and Central Asian Countries, along with the delegation, from November 25 to 29, 2020. Durdyev's visit to Henan Academy of Sericultural Sciences, Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co., Ltd., China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd., and Nanzhao Dongfang Silk Development Co., Ltd., yielded positive results. He remarked that he would try his best to organize Turkmenistan experts to communicate with their Chinese counterparts online, so as to carry out cooperation as soon as possible.

会上，河南省人民政府外事办公室副主任李冰介绍，2020年11月25日至29日，土库曼斯坦大使杜尔德耶夫率团赴河南省出席中国（河南）—中亚五国农业产业合作论坛。访豫期间，大使一行赴省蚕科院及陆港公司、中铁盾构、郑州商品交易所、宇通客车、东方蚕丝绸开发有限公司等地进行考察，取得了积极成效，并表示将尽力促成双方专家通过线上进行交流对接，尽快开展合作。

 

"With the joint efforts of Ambassador Durdyev and the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Henan Province, we organized this videoconference, aiming to discuss the new types of cooperation between the two sides in the post-pandemic era and promote practical cooperation in such fields as import and export trade, deep processing of agricultural products, sericultural industry, textile industry, natural gas, grain industry, buses and logistics for mutual development," remarked Li Bing.

“在杜尔德耶夫大使阁下和河南省人民政府外事办公室的共同推动下，我们今天组织了‘深化河南省—土库曼斯坦务实关系视频会议’，旨在共同探索后疫情时代双方合作的新方式，切实推动双方在进出口贸易、农产品深加工、养蚕业、纺织业、天然气、粮食产业、客车、物流等领域的务实合作，促进共同发展，造福两地人民。”李冰说。

 

At the videoconference, the representatives from Henan Academy of Sericultural Sciences, Henan Textile Industry Association, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange and Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co., Ltd., introduced their businesses, and experts from both sides shared their ideas.
