Hero Honored in Xinyang

The parents of Xiao Siyuan, a People's Liberation Army soldier who died at age 24, pay tribute to their son in Xinxiang, Henan province, on Sunday during the Tomb Sweeping Day, a festival to commemorate the dead. Xiao is one of four martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect China's national sovereignty and territory during the Sino-Indian border clash in June.
