China-Europe Freight Train (Zhengzhou) for Tea Export Services Launched

郑州集结再出发 信阳茶叶搭乘中欧班列（郑州）飘香“丝路”

On the morning of April 26, with a long whistle, a train loaded with tea named Xinyang Maojian departed from Xinyang city for China-Europe freight train hub of Zhengzhou. Listed as a part of China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou) service, the train heading west finally reached Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

4月26日上午，伴随着响亮的汽笛声，满载着河南信阳茶叶的农副产品专列驶出信阳市，开往中欧班列郑州集结中心，在郑州汇入中欧班列（郑州）“大部队”，编入中欧班列图定线路序列后，一路向西，最终将到达乌兹别克斯坦塔什干。

It was the third time in 2021 for Henan, a major agricultural province, to export Xinyang Maojian to Uzbekistan.

这也是2021年以来作为农产品大省的河南第三次向乌兹别克斯坦出口信阳绿茶。

On the evening of January 18, 2021, Henan's first China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou) for tea export services left for Tashkent. Jointly organized by Henan Tea Import and Export Group (affiliated to Henan Tea Group) and Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co., Ltd., the train loaded with Xinyang Maojian which mainly picked up from three core growing areas of Xinyang, namely Shihe district, Luoshan county and Guangshan county, during summer and autumn in 2020.

2021年1月18日晚，首班中欧班列（郑州）信阳绿茶专列启程开往乌兹别克斯坦首都塔什干。该趟专列由河南省茶叶集团下属子公司河南省茶叶进出口集团和郑州国际陆港开发建设有限公司共同组织，专列上搭载的茶叶，主要采用2020年信阳市浉河区、罗山县、光山县三个原料产茶区的夏秋季茶叶。

On July 6, 2020, Zhengzhou being the only one in Central and East China was approved with the other four domestic hubs of China-Europe freight train services, namely Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an and Urumchi. The successful launch of the trains has further promoted the cooperation between China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou) and Henan's prefecture-level cities in a bid to transform the service of China-Europe freight train hub Zhengzhou from "point to point" to "hub to hub" and accelerate the development of an efficient collection and distribution system for further promotion of freight trains across the province.

2020年7月6日，郑州成为获批国家五个中欧班列集结中心（郑州、重庆、成都、西安、乌鲁木齐）中东部唯一中欧班列集结中心。信阳茶叶专列的开行，进一步推动了中欧班列（郑州）和地市合作，是中欧班列郑州集结中心建设的重要内容，将进一步加快中欧班列郑州集结中心建设由“点到点”提升到“枢纽对枢纽”，推进构建“干支结合、枢纽集散”的高效集疏运体系，进一步推动形成全省班列“一核多极”联动发展局面。

China is the hometown of tea. In China's long history, tea was not only one of the main commodities along the Silk Road, but also an important platform for exchanges and integration of Eastern and Western civilizations. Xinyang Maojian, a well-known brand in the process of Henan's opening-up, has built an inland opening-up highland in Henan, along with the "Land Silk Road" - China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou).
