French Delegation Visits Henan for Cooperation

On May 26, a French delegation led by Javier Gimeno, senior vice-president of Saint-Gobain SA and CEO for its Asia-Pacific operations, visited Central China's Henan province.
5月26日，法国圣戈班集团高级副总裁兼亚太区首席执行官孟昊文一行来豫考察访问。
He Jinping, vice-governor of Henan province, met with the French guests in Zhengzhou. After a brief introduction, He remarked that as China enters a new development stage, Henan will follow a new development philosophy and integrate into the new development pattern with high-quality development in mind. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Henan will focus on the construction of a competitive trillion-yuan-level industrial cluster by promoting six strategic pillar industrial chains of equipment manufacturing, advanced metal materials, new building materials, etc. With a sound industrial foundation and broad market prospects, the cooperation between China and Saint-Gobain will be promising. Welcome Saint-Gobain and other French enterprises to invest and start businesses in Henan. Governments at all levels in Henan will spare no efforts to create a market-oriented, law-based and internationalized business environment with great efficiency to ensure projects sound following up, coordination and service.

Javier Gimeno expressed his gratitude to He, adding that Saint-Gobain has been named one of the world's top 100 companies for 10 consecutive years and would like to set an example for other French enterprises investing in Henan by developing resource-saving and environment-friendly projects with innovative technologies.
