News from Zhengzhou Customs on June 10 -- From January to May, Henan's import and export value totaled 308.65 billion yuan, ranking 1st in Central China, 2nd in Central-Western China and 10th in China, hitting a record high compared with the figures of the same period in the past years.

6月10日，郑州海关披露数据显示，今年前5个月，河南省进出口总值3086.5亿元，居中部第一、中西部第二、全国第十位。同时，也创出河南省前5个月进出口总值历史新高。

Specifically, Henan's exports expanded 62.2 percent year-on-year to 193.29 billion yuan, 32.1 percentage points higher than the national rate, while its imports rose 72.2 percent year-on-year to 115.36 billion yuan, 46.3 percentage points higher than the national rate, resulting in a trade surplus of 77.93 billion yuan, a 49.4 percent surge on a year earlier. In May, the import and export value of Henan saw a year-on-year increase of 41 percent to 55 billion yuan, of which the export value rose 26.6 percent year-on-year to 33.85 billion yuan while the import value 72.6 percent to 21.15 billion yuan.

其中出口1932.9亿元，增长62.2%，高出全国出口平均水平32.1个百分点；进口1153.6亿元，增长72.2%，高出全国进口平均水平46.3个百分点。贸易顺差779.3亿元，扩大49.4%。在5月份当月，河南省进出口550亿元，同比增长41%。其中，出口338.5亿元，同比增长26.6%；进口211.5亿元，同比增长72.6%。

Henan's foreign trade volume in the January-May period exceeded 300 billion yuan, ranking 1st in Central China, 2nd in Central-Western China and 10th in China, hitting a record high compared with the figures of the same period in the past years. Besides, Henan has been successful in achieving the 1st place among all the six provinces in Central China since 2012. In the first 5 months this year, Henan's import-export growth rate stood at 65.8 percent, ranking 5th nationwide following Guizhou (76.2 percent), Qinghai (92.7 percent), Tibet (103.2 percent) and Shanxi (110.3 percent), while its foreign trade volume was 2.6 times the total of that reached by the provinces (regions) in the first 4 positions.

今年前5个月，河南省进出口总值3086.5亿元，创河南省前5个月历史新高。河南省进出口总值居中部第一、中西部第二、全国第十位。自2012年以来，河南省外贸进出口长期保持中部第一。今年前5个月，山西、西藏、青海、贵州、河南进出口增速分别为：110.3%、103.2%、92.7%、76.2%、65.8%。河南省进出口增速位居全国第五位，而且河南省外贸规模是增速前四位省（区）的2.6倍。

Private enterprises continue to top the provincial foreign trade growth

民营企业继续保持全省外贸增长最大贡献者地位

During the first 5 months, the import and export value of private enterprises in Henan rose 103.7 percent to 131.18 billion yuan, accounting for 42.5 percent of the provincial total (7.9 percentage points higher over the same period of 2020). In terms of the contribution to the provincial foreign trade growth, private enterprises made the most of 54.5 percent, 16.7 percentage points higher than that by foreign-invested enterprises (37.8 percent). By contrast, the import and export value of foreign-invested enterprises and state-owned ones has respectively increased 44.5 percent and 40.7 percent to 150.49 billion yuan (accounting for 42.5 percent of the provincial total) and 24.23 billion yuan.

前5个月，河南省民营企业进出口1311.8亿元，增长103.7%，占河南省外贸总值的42.5%，比去年同期提升7.9个百分点，对全省外贸增长的贡献率为54.5%，比外商投资企业贡献率高出16.7个百分点，是河南省外贸增长最大的贡献力量。同时，外商投资企业进出口1504.9亿元，增长44.5%，占48.8%，对全省外贸增长贡献率为37.8%；国有企业进出口242.3亿元，增长40.7%。

During the first 5 months, the import and export value of comprehensive bonded zones in Henan rose 84.2 percent to 189.51 billion yuan, accounting for 61.4 percent of the provincial total (6.1 percentage points higher over the same period of 2020) with a contribution of 70.7 percent to the provincial foreign trade growth. In the first 5 months, the import and export value of general trade increased 38.4 percent to 102.32 billion yuan, accounting for 33.2 percent of the provincial total, and that of bonded logistics trade rose 122.8 percent to 10.27 billion yuan, accounting for 3.3 percent of the provincial total.

前5个月，河南省综合保税区进出口1895.1亿元，增长84.2%，对全省外贸增长的贡献率为70.7%，占全省进出口总值的61.4%，比去年同期提升6.1个百分点。一般贸易进出口1023.2亿元，增长38.4%，占33.2%；保税物流进出口102.7亿元，增长122.8%，占3.3%。

During the January-May period, Henan's export of mechanical and electrical products amounted to 132.88 billion yuan with an increase of 72.9 percent year-on-year (accounting for 68.7 percent of the provincial total export volume), of which 111.87 billion yuan were made by mobile phones with an increase of 85.3 percent year-on-year. Henan contributed 8.9 percent to China's total mobile phone exports, with a value accounting for 31.5 percent of China's total. The export value of labor-intensive products up 18.5 percent to 11.09 billion yuan.

前5个月，河南省机电产品出口1328.8亿元，增长72.9%，占全省出口的68.7%，其中手机出口1118.7亿元，增长85.3%，占全省出口的57.9%；河南省手机出口数量占全国的8.9%，出口金额却能占到全国的31.5%。劳动密集型产品出口110.9亿元，增长18.5%。

To be specific, the import and export value of Zhengzhou saw a year-on-year increase of 73.5 percent to 223.24 billion yuan, accounting for 72.3 percent of the provincial total, while that of Jiyuan, Sanmenxia, Xuchang and Luoyang 186.1 percent to 15.86 billion yuan, 58.7 percent to 10.41 billion yuan, 120.9 percent to 9.1 billion yuan and 41.6 percent to 8.51 billion yuan.
