Over 100 Thousand Tons of Grains Imported via Henan's Designated Port for Imported Grains

新突破！河南进境粮食指定口岸进口粮食吞吐量超10万吨

 

By June 9, the total volume of imported grains via the Designated Port for Imported Grains of Henan Province exceeded 100 thousand tons, of which 56,128 tons were achieved this year with a year-on-year increase of 653 percent, according to the Designated Port on June 10.

6月10日，记者从河南进境粮食指定口岸获悉，截至2021年6月9日，河南进境粮食指定口岸累计进口粮食吞吐量突破10万吨，其中2021年度累计进口粮食吞吐量达到56128吨，同比去年增加653%。

According to the arrangement of the Designated Port, the eight categories of grains are imported via six entry ports from ten countries in five continents by seventy trains running on three routes, namely the eastbound route (rail-sea intermodal freight trains), the westbound route (freight trains linking Zhengzhou with Central Asia) and the northbound route (freight trains linking Zhengzhou with Russia). So far, a total of 105,846.5 tons of grains have been imported from Ukraine, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, America, Canada, Uruguay, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, etc., via the ports of Alataw Pass, Khorgos, Suifenhe, Qingdao, Tianjin, Lianyungang, etc., with a trade volume exceeding 300 million yuan.

按照河南进境粮食指定口岸的整体规划部署，口岸分别通过东向（海铁联运）、西向（中亚班列，中亚-郑州）、北向（中欧班列，俄罗斯-郑州）三个通道六个入境口岸进口五大洲、十个国家、八个品类、七十个班列的粮食。截至目前已经通过阿拉山口、霍尔果斯、绥芬河、青岛港、天津港、连云港等入境口岸从乌克兰、埃塞俄比亚、乌干达、坦桑尼亚、美国、加拿大、乌拉圭、哈萨克斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦等国家进口了大豆、绿豆、芝麻、亚麻籽、小麦、面粉、大麦、葵花籽共计105846.5吨的粮食，累计实现贸易额突破3亿元。   

 

The Designated Port, the first inland port approved by the state, aims to improve the grain industrial structure, fill the possible gap in the regional grain industry and ensure food security by directly importing international high-quality grains to Central China. Agricultural and sideline products such as sunflower seeds, wheat, flaxseed and sesame imported are all consumed locally, providing high-quality imported grains for the local residents.

河南进境粮食指定口岸作为我国批复的第一个内陆口岸，正式投入运营以来，通过直接进口国外优质粮食，将优质粮食向我国中部地区聚集和流动，改善粮食产业结构，填补区域产业空白，保障粮食安全。河南口岸进口的葵花籽、小麦、亚麻籽、芝麻等品类的农副产品均由本地消化，让老百姓在家门口吃到优质的进口粮源。（中文来源/大河网 翻译/赵汉青 审校/白玉杰）
