A Memorial Hall Set up for Henan's First Party Branch

On June 16, the opening ceremony of the Memorial Hall of Kaifeng Locomotive Factory Party Branch, the first Party branch of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, was held in Yuwangtai district of Kaifeng city, Central China's Henan province.

6月16日，中共河南省第一个党支部——开封市禹王台区车头厂党支部纪念馆揭牌开馆。

Back in the winter of 1922, the Party branch of Kaifeng Locomotive Factory was established in Kaifeng, hence the earliest Party organization at the grass-roots level in Kaifeng. The very establishment marked that the working class in Kaifeng finally embraced its own grass-roots Party organization and the people's revolutionary movement in Kaifeng also welcomed their own core leadership.

1922年冬，中共车头厂党支部在开封诞生。作为开封最早的共产党基层组织，车头厂党支部的成立标志着开封工人阶级有了自己的基层党组织，开封人民的革命斗争有了自己的核心力量。

The Memorial Hall is divided into two venues with seven themes, such as "The Communist Party of China Set up Henan's First Party Branch" and "Rapid Development of Yuwangtai", vividly showing the revolutionary history of the first Party branch of Henan through cultural relics, pictures and figures.

据介绍，该纪念馆分设东西两个展厅，设有“中国共产党在开封车头厂建立河南省第一个党支部”“日新月异快速发展的禹王台”等七个板块，采用文物实物、图片图表等多种展示手段，生动展现了中共河南省第一个党支部的红色记忆。（中文来源/河南日报 翻译/赵汉青 审校/张军平）
