Henan's Summer Planting Reaches 90.28 Million Mu

河南夏播基本结束，累计播种9028万亩

According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Henan Province on June 22, by the end of that day, a total of 90.28 million mu (1 mu equals to 0.06 hectares) of fields have been planted across the province. Apart from soybeans, coarse cereals and rotating vegetables are still planted in other parts, Henan's summer planting has generally come to an end.

6月22日，记者从省农业农村厅获悉，截止当天，河南省累计夏播面积9028万亩。除部分地方大豆、杂粮和倒茬蔬菜还在陆续播种外，河南省夏播基本结束。

So far, Henan has seen its fields planted with grain crops reaching 68.50 million mu (55.28 million mu of maize, 6.06 million mu of rice and 5.16 million mu of soybeans), peanuts 11.98 million mu, vegetables and melons 7.80 million mu, and other crops 2 million mu.

河南省已播粮食作物6850万亩。其中玉米5528万亩，水稻606万亩，大豆516万亩。花生已播1198万亩。蔬菜瓜类已播780万亩。其他已播200万亩。

Henan's summer planting this year is generally stable with its autumn crops being planted as planned owing to the favorable climate and soil moisture.
