An Agreement on Hydrogen Technologies Reached between Henan and the UK

河南省与英国就氢能合作达成协议

 

News from the Department of Commerce of Henan Province on June 22 – At the UK-China Collaboration Forum on Hydrogen recently co-hosted by the Department of Commerce of Henan Province, the British Consulate General in Wuhan and the Department for International Trade of the UK, Henan Lanxing Power Equipment Co., Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as Lanxing) signed an agreement with Logan Energy Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as Logan Energy), a leading hydrogen technology company in Europe, on the construction of hydrogen energy industrial park in Wenxian county of Jiaozuo city, Henan province, with an initial investment of 100 million yuan.

记者6月22日从省商务厅获悉，该厅与英国驻武汉总领事馆、英国国际贸易部日前共同主办了“氢能产业中英合作论坛”，河南兰兴电力机械有限公司与欧洲领先的氢能源技术公司洛根能源，现场签署合作协议，双方将在焦作市温县投资建设氢能产业园，先期投资额为1亿元。

Hydrogen industry stands at the forefront of new energy. Logan Energy is currently the only hydrogen and fuel cell integrator in the UK, offering a full turnkey service related to hydrogen energy projects. Besides, as a hydrogen policy adviser of the UK and the EU, it has successfully completed a number of high-value demonstration projects in recent years. Lanxing is a modern high-tech enterprise and manufacturing base in the design, production, sales and maintenance of power-related machinery. In 2019, Logan Energy brought in the strategic investment from Lanxing and established a subsidiary in China in the following year. Now, Lanxing has been authorized to provide technical solutions to any hydrogen energy projects in China.

据介绍，氢能产业处于新能源的前沿。目前洛根能源是英国唯一的氢能和燃料电池集成商，拥有全套氢能源设计方案，也是英国和欧盟氢能政策顾问，近年主导成功完成了多项高价值示范工程。兰兴公司是集设计、生产、销售、维修电力线路施工机具等业务于一体的现代化高新技术企业和制造基地。2019年，洛根能源引入兰兴公司战略投资，并于2020年成立洛根中国公司。目前，兰兴公司已获得英方氢能相关技术方案的授权，可在中国境内开展所有技术落地业务。

 

Through the project in Wenxian county, Lanxing is bound to transfer Logan Energy's whole technologies related to hydrogen and fuel cell to China, and based on their equipment, human resources and rich experience, to develop a pattern applicable to domestic market, thus creating a high-quality model for the transformation of old and new energies in Henan and even the whole country and helping Henan to take a lead in hydrogen technologies and market in the trend of achieving carbon neutrality.

此次兰兴公司将通过温县项目的落地，将洛根能源的全套氢能与燃料电池集成技术顺利转移至国内，并在其硬件设备、人才资源、项目运营经验的支持下，做出可推广的、适用于国内环境的技术模式，为河南乃至全国范围内的新旧动能转换提供高质量技术范本，推动我省在碳中和发展趋势下占得氢能源技术与市场先机。

 

With the increase of economic and trade exchanges, the trade volume of between Henan and the UK saw a year-on-year increase of 29.1 percent to 18.7 billion yuan in 2020. From January to April this year, their trade totaled 4.34 billion yuan with a year-on-year increase of 134.1 percent.

据了解，我省与英国经贸交流日益密切，2020年双方贸易总额达187亿元，同比增长29.1%。今年前4个月双方贸易总额43.4亿元，同比增长134.1%。（中文来源/河南日报 翻译/赵汉青 审校/李文竞）
