Tourism Thrives along Henan Expressways

沿着高速看河南｜交旅融合吹来致富新风

 

After raining, Luanchuan county of Luoyang city, Central China's Henan province embraces a fantastic view. Along the Zhengzhou-Xixia expressway (Yaoshan-Luanchuan section), lush mountains shrouded in mist create a fairyland.

6月20日，雨过天晴的栾川，分外美丽。沿着郑州至西峡高速公路尧山至栾川段（以下简称“尧栾高速”）行驶，青山在白色雾气中若隐若现，宛如仙境。

Running through the Funiu Mountain, the Yaoshan-Luanchuan expressway, opened on December 26, 2020, boosts a very beautiful scenery. It ended the history that there was no expressway in Yaoshan town of Lushan county as well as in the southern areas of Songxian county and Luanchuan county.

这段“云中高速”，贯穿伏牛山腹地，沿途风光秀丽。去年12月26日尧栾高速的开通，结束了鲁山县尧山镇和嵩县、栾川县南部地区不通高速的历史。

 

Where expressways are built, tourism will flourish with more traveling options.

高速公路修到哪里，旅游大发展的春风就吹到哪里，游客的出行范围就扩展到哪里。

 

"The Yaoshan-Luanchuan expressway has boomed the winter tourism in Luanchuan and directly benefited more than 30 scenic areas along the route." According to Wu Huangong, deputy director of Luoyang Expressway Management Office of the Department of Transport of Henan Province, during the Spring Festival of 2021, the number of tourists in the southern area of Luanchuan increased 16 percent over the same period in the past years. Besides, with the operation of the Yaoshan-Luanchuan expressway over the past 6 months, the number of tourists from Pingdingshan, Xuchang, Nanyang, Luohe and Hubei's xiangyang to Luanchuan increased more than 50 percent year-on-year, with the number of tourist groups doubled.

“尧栾高速的开通，带火了栾川的冬季旅游市场，直接受益的是沿线30多家旅游景区。”省交通运输厅高速公路洛阳管理处副处长吴焕功说，根据统计，2021年春节期间，栾川南部地区的游客量较往年同期增长了16%左右；尧栾高速开通近半年来，平顶山、许昌、南阳、漯河以及湖北襄阳等地赴栾川的游客同比增长了50%以上，旅游团队数量实现了翻番。

 

For the people living in the mountainous region, the Yaoshan-Luanchuan expressway has turned the lush mountains and clear rivers into invaluable assets, creating many benefits. With the following construction of the Zhengzhou-Xixia expressway, the local residents' travel will be more convenient, thus playing a significant role in promoting rural vitalization in Southwest Henan and boosting economic and social development of the City Agglomeration in the Central China.

对于山区群众来说，路的通达，不仅是一条线的延伸，更带来了一连串的复合效益，打通了“绿水青山”向“金山银山”转化的通道。郑西高速全线贯通后，将大幅改善沿线民众的出行条件，对于带动豫西南乡村振兴、促进中原城市群经济社会发展具有重要意义。（中文来源/河南日报 翻译/魏蔚 审校/李文竞）
