Anyang, located in Central China's Henan province, not only boosts a profound culture, but also offers a beautiful natural scenery.

Heading towards the west on the Nanle-Linzhou expressway, our car seemed to have entered a long winding green corridor with beautiful scenery featuring green trees and red flowers along the road. Passing by the Hongqiqu Canal (a man-made miracle, known as the eighth wonder of the world), we finally reached our destination – the Taihang Grand Canyon (a sketching base for art lovers).

从京港澳高速转南林高速一路向西，仿佛进入了一条蜿蜒的绿色长廊，各种树木串联成片、红花绿叶错落有致，道路两边的景色美不胜收。沿线经过世界第八大奇迹人工天河——红旗渠，最终抵达太行山写生基地——太行大峡谷。

Apart from the beautiful scenery, the great Spirit of Hongqiqu Canal is also a source of strength, leading us forward.

一路走来，不仅可以欣赏大好河山的壮美，更可以感悟红旗渠精神，汲取前行力量。

Recently, the construction of Anyang section of the Taihang Mountain expressway has been started. With a new mileage of 58.938 kilometers, this section connects Rencun town of Linzhou, the starting point, with Handan of Hebei and finally joins the Taiqian-Huixian expressway. Upon completion, it will provide convenience for people in Hebei, Shanxi and Henan to visit the Taihang Grand Canyon, which is of great significance to the enhancement of the road networks of the three provinces, the  promotion of their economic and social development as well as the boosting of the resources and tourism along the route.

前不久，沿太行高速安阳段项目正式开工，起于林州市任村镇，顺接河北邯郸，最终接入台辉高速，新建里程58.938公里。项目建成后，将在太行山东麓形成一条快捷通道，方便河北、山西以及我省地区到太行大峡谷，对完善豫、晋、冀地区路网结构、带动三省经济社会的发展、促进沿线资源和旅游开发具有重要意义。

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), a transportation network with 5 north-south expressways and 6 east-west ones will be basically formed in Anyang, two expressways in each county.
