"I like China. China is very good." "I like Henan stewed noodles and Xinyang Maojian tea. And I want to go to Shaolin Temple most." "I particularly look forward to the schedules for the next few days." On July 12, the 2021 "Experience China" activity was launched in Zhengzhou, capital of Central China's Henan province. More than 20 international students in China will participate in the activity in the following days.

“我喜欢中国，中国非常好”“我喜欢河南的烩面和信阳毛尖，最想去少林寺”“特别期待未来几天的行程”......7月12日，由省委外办、省教育厅、华北水利水电大学联合主办的“走进中原·感知中国”——2021国际留学生河南行活动在郑州启动，20余名参与活动的在华留学生们都激动不已。

This themed activity of "Experience China in Central Plains" aims to help the international students in China foster a comprehensive understanding of Henan's history, culture and economic and social development by taking them to visit enterprises, universities and villages across the province, so that they could not only tell Chinese and Henan stories in an objective way, but also become the messengers of friendship, builders of friendly relations and promoters of further cooperation.

据介绍，活动以“走进中原·感知中国”为主题，结合留学生在中国、在河南的当下便利，通过深入走进河南省企业、高校、乡村等，帮助留学生全面了解河南的历史文化及经济社会发展，使其能更客观地讲好中国故事和河南故事，并进而成为中外播种友谊的使者、友好关系的建设者和深化合作的推动者。

"If you want to know more about China, Henan is a must-see." Li Zhen, the first-class inspector of the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Henan Province and deputy director of the People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of Henan Province, said that he hoped that through the activity, the international students would gain a real, multi-dimensional and comprehensive understanding of China and Henan, and at the same time, share their ideas and experience with more people.

“想更好了解中国，一定要来河南看一看。”河南省人民政府外事办公室一级巡视员、省人民对外友好协会副会长李镇说，希望留学生们通过此次活动，对中国、对河南有更真实、立体和全面的了解，同时把想法和体会介绍给更多人。

TUYCHIEVA KHOLODA, from Uzbekistan, is now studying at Xi'an International Studies University. This is her second visit to Henan. "My teacher told us that Henan has a very long history. I am very curious and want to see those places related to history in Henan with my own eyes, particularly Anyang and Luoyang." KHOLODA said that she would share what she has seen with her relatives and friends in the following days through pictures and videos, so that they could know more about China, too.  

来自乌兹别克斯坦的欧阳丽达目前在西安外国语大学学习，这是她第二次来到河南。“老师之前给我们讲过，河南有很悠久的历史，我特别好奇，想亲眼看一看河南这些与历史有关的地方，特别想去安阳和洛阳。”欧阳丽达说，她会把看到的这些通过图片和视频分享给家乡的亲人、朋友，让他们也更了解中国。

"I'm looking forward to this activity. I have been fond of martial arts movies since my childhood, so I especially want to go to Shaolin Temple to realize my childhood dream." MASEZERANO DIVINE, from Rwanda, is now studying at Beijing Language and Culture University. She told dahe.cn that in the future, she wants to be a Chinese teacher in her hometown. "I want to know more about China, so that upon my return, I can make a better introduction to it," said her.

“我非常期待这次的活动，我从小就很喜欢看武侠电影，所以最想去少林寺，好好感受一下，实现自己童年的梦想。”马思莲来自卢旺达，现在是北京语言大学的一名学生，她告诉记者，将来她想回国成为一名汉语老师。“我想更加全面了解中国，这样我回国就能更好地介绍中国。”马思莲说。

In the following days, the international students will visit Zhengzhou, Xinxiang, Ruzhou, etc. Through interactions and personal experience, they can witness Henan's historical changes, profound culture, science and technology, rural vitalization, etc., in an immersive way. Besides, various events such as parties and short-video competitions will also be held, enabling both Chinese and international students to show their home country's culture and their own talents.

据悉，未来几天，活动将组织参访郑州、新乡、汝州等地，通过互动交流及亲身体验等多种形式，以点带面，使留学生在沉浸式参与中，实地见证河南历史变迁、厚重文化、创新科技、乡村振兴等发展成果和未来愿景。其间还筹划了联谊会、短视频比赛等活动环节，使中外学生都能展示本国文化和自我才华。（中文来源/大河网 翻译/赵汉青 海报/实习生王君艺 审校/张军平）
