China's major celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China have been made into a series of video publications, set to be released domestically and abroad, China Media Group announced on Sunday.
As the country's largest broadcaster, the group live streamed the grand gathering held at Tian'anmen Square in Beijing on July 1 and recorded the art performance, titled The Great Journey, in Beijing's National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest, on June 28.
CMG also aired the 24-episode feature program, Gan Jiao Ri Yue Huan Xin Tian (An Unprecedented Change), and a 10-episode program about a CPC knowledge contest that included many college students across the country as contenders.
All such events and programs -- with the total number surpassing 10 -- are produced into a series of video publications and translated into multiple languages, including English, French and Spanish, to be sold in bookstores and e-commerce platforms.
Serial publications to mark CPC's centenary are set to be released overseas. [Photo provided to China Daily]
