Over 100 Million Doses of COVID-19 Vaccines Administered in Henan

河南省新冠疫苗接种突破1亿剂次

A total of 100,390,482 doses of COVID-19 vaccines had been administered in Central China's Henan province by July 31.

截至7月31日，河南省累计接种新冠疫苗100390482剂次。

In these two days, there has been a surge in public's willingness to take COVID-19 vaccines. Taking July 31 for an example, a total of 993,133 doses of vaccines were administered in Henan.

最近两天，群众接种意愿高涨。以7月31日为例，我省一天接种新冠疫苗就达到993133剂次。

Besides, vaccination programs have been rolled out to different age groups. Zhengzhou began to vaccinate adolescents between the ages of 12 to 17 against COVID-19 on August 1.

人数不断增多，接种年龄范围也在逐步扩大。8月1日起，郑州12岁至17岁人群新冠疫苗正式开打。

On the morning of August 1, at the health service center of Zhengzhou's Linke community, a 17-year-old girl surnamed Liu, accompanied by her father, was queuing in line for vaccination. "Informed by her teacher yesterday, I take my daughter here today immediately." Liu's father told Henan Daily, "It is necessary to get vaccinated due to the current situation."

8月1日上午，记者在郑州市林科社区卫生服务中心看到，17岁女孩小刘正在父亲的陪同下排队等候打疫苗。“昨天学校老师在班级群里发了通知，今天就赶紧带她过来了。”小刘的父亲告诉记者，“当前疫情形势还很严峻，打疫苗很有必要。”

Each individual between the ages of 12 to 17 will also need two doses of the vaccine with an interval of 21 days in between, which is basically the same as that for adults. Nevertheless, two differences are as follows: First, adolescents between the ages of 12 to 17 must be accompanied by their parents or guardians who need to sign the Informed Consent and the Letter of Commitment (a statement on bearing personal responsibility for all risks associated with vaccination), and the information of those vaccinated and their parents or guardians will be recorded by medical staff. Apart from that, vaccine manufacturers are different. Currently, the vaccines for adults cannot be used as an alternative to those for people between the ages of 12 to 17.

据介绍，18岁以下未成年人接种新冠疫苗的流程，与成人基本一致，两剂次间隔时间也一样，均为21天。不同之处有两点：首先，未成年人接种新冠疫苗必须由家长或监护人陪同，疫苗接种知情同意书需要家长签字，医务人员录入信息时会同时录入学生和家长的信息；其次，疫苗生产厂家不同，目前18岁以下人群新冠疫苗暂不能与成人疫苗进行替代接种。（中文来源/河南日报 翻译/赵汉青 海报/实习生王君艺 审校/焦丹）
