核酸采样现场｜我是党员，这是我义不容辞的责任

 

From the afternoon of August 5 to the early morning of the next day, Wu Hao had been working on nucleic acid test sampling from the local residents of Yaozhai community. Although it was her first time working on the frontline of battling against the COVID-19, she had no fear.

从8月5日下午到次日上午，吴好一直在姚寨社区进行核酸采样，这是她第一次参加“一线”工作，但她却没有丝毫畏惧。

The thick protective suit in such a scorching summer soaked Wu's clothes with sweat quickly. In the early morning of the next day, after 6 hours' working, Wu's medical team was informed to dispatch a medical staff to take nucleic acid sample for an aged man having difficulties in moving around at his home. Tired though she was, she still took up the task without hesitation with some medical supplies.

身着厚厚的防护服加之天气炎热，吴好很快就大汗淋漓。持续工作6个小时后到了凌晨时分，队伍接到了通知：一位行动不便的老人需要上门采样。尽管已经很疲惫，但吴好依然毫不犹豫地拿起采集器、试管和消毒液出发了。

 

"You've worked hard. I'm a CPC member and I don't want to make trouble for our medical staff. I should have gone to the testing spot by myself, but I had to trouble you to come here…" said the aged man regretfully. Wu answered, "I'm also a CPC member, and this is my duty!"

老人看到医护人员上门为自己采样，愧疚地说：“你们已经很辛苦了，我是党员，不能给医护人员添麻烦，应该我去检测点的，这还要麻烦你们过来……”吴好安慰老人说：“我也是党员，这也是我义不容辞的责任！”

 

According to Wu, as a CPC member, she should always be considerate of others, and as a medical staff at the same time, she should especially have a stronger sense of responsibility, making contributions to the final victory of the anti-pandemic battle no matter how arduous it is.
