News from Zhengzhou Customs on September 13 -- In the first 8 months of 2021, Henan's import and export value expanded by 46.8 percent year-on-year to 477.01 billion yuan with a growth rate 23.1 percentage points higher than the national average of 23.7 percent.

大河网讯 9月13日，记者从郑州海关获悉，今年前8个月，河南省进出口总值4770.1亿元，比去年同期（下同）增长46.8%，高于全国整体增速（23.7%）23.1个百分点。

Specifically, Henan's exports jumped by 43.2 percent year-on-year to 295.76 billion yuan with a growth rate 20 percentage points higher than the national average, while its imports rose by 53.2 percent year-on-year to 181.25 billion yuan with a growth rate 28.8 percentage points higher than the national average, resulting in a trade surplus of 114.51 billion yuan, a surge of 29.7 percent from a year earlier. In August alone, the import and export value of Henan saw a year-on-year increase of 9.6 percent to 52.07 billion yuan, of which the export value rose by 3.1 percent year-on-year to 28.8 billion yuan while the import value by 19 percent to 23.27 billion yuan.

海关数据显示，其中出口2957.6亿元，增长43.2%，高出全国出口平均水平20个百分点；进口1812.5亿元，增长53.2%，高出全国进口平均水平28.8个百分点。贸易顺差1145.1亿元，扩大29.7%。今年8月份当月，河南省进出口520.7亿元，同比增长9.6%。其中，出口288亿元，同比增长3.1%；进口232.7亿元，同比增长19%。

With a growth rate ranking 6th in China, Henan's foreign trade volume during the January-August period maintained the 1st place in Central China, 2nd place in Central and West China and 12th place in China.

今年前8个月，河南省进出口总值稳居中部第一、中西部第三、全国第12位，进出口增速位居全国第六位。

 

From January to August, with a contribution of 23 percent made by Henan, Central China's import and export value expanded by 32.5 percent year-on-year to 2.07 trillion yuan with a growth rate 9, 9.9, 7.2 and 13.9 percentage points higher than the national average, East China, West China and Northeast China respectively. Central China became a region with the fastest foreign trade development.

前8个月，我国中部地区实现进出口总值2.07万亿元，增长32.5%，比同期全国、东部、西部和东北地区外贸进出口增速分别高9个、9.9个、7.2个和13.9个百分点，是全国外贸发展速度最快的区域。其中，河南省外贸进出口总值占中部地区外贸总量的23%。

 

Private enterprises contributed the most to Henan's total foreign trade volume with a proportion exceeding that of the foreign-invested ones for the first time

全省外贸增量贡献主要来自民营企业，其所占比重超越外商投资企业

 

During the first 8 months, the import and export value of private enterprises in Henan rose by 96.5 percent to 220.56 billion yuan, accounting for 46.2 percent of the province's total foreign trade volume (11.7 percentage points higher over the same period last year) with a growth rate 49.6 percentage points higher that the provincial average. It was the first time that the foreign trade proportion of private enterprises exceeded that of foreign-invested enterprises. In terms of their contribution to the province's foreign trade growth, private enterprises made the most of 71.2 percent, 50 percentage points higher than that by foreign-invested enterprises.

今年前8个月，河南省民营企业进出口2205.6亿元，增长96.5%，高出全省平均增速49.6个百分点，占河南省外贸总值的46.2%，比去年同期提升11.7个百分点，所占比重年内累计首次超越外商投资企业，对全省外贸增长的贡献率为71.2%，比外商投资企业贡献率高出50个百分点，对全省外贸增长贡献最大。

 

By contrast, the import and export value of foreign-invested enterprises and state-owned ones has respectively increased by 16.9 percent and 32.8 percent to 211.9 billion yuan (accounting for 44.4 percent of the province's total foreign trade volume, 11.4 percentage points lower over the same period last year) and 39.86 billion yuan.

同时，外商投资企业进出口2119亿元，增长16.9%，占44.4%，同比减少11.4个百分点，对全省外贸增长的贡献率为20.2%；国有企业进出口398.6亿元，增长32.8%。

During the first 8 months, Henan's trade volume with the United States, the ASEAN, the EU (excluding the UK), China's Taiwan region, South Korea saw a year-on-year growth of 119 percent, 16.3 percent, 5.8 percent, 61.8 percent and 141.3 percent to 106.4 billion yuan, 52.15 billion yuan, 50.65 billion yuan, 43.18 billion yuan and 40.44 billion yuan. With a contribution of 71.1 percent to the province's foreign trade growth, the trade volume between Henan and such places accounted for 61.4 percent of the province's total foreign trade volume, which means that of the 46.8 percent of the foreign trade increase in Henan, 33.3 percent came from the above mentioned 5 market forces.

今年前8个月，河南省对美国、东盟、欧盟（不含英国）、中国台湾地区和韩国分别进出口1064亿元、521.5亿元、506.5亿元、431.8亿元和404.4亿元，分别增长119%、16.3%、5.8%、61.8%和141.3%，上述五市场合计占全省外贸总值的61.4%，对全省外贸贡献率为71.1%，这意味着全省外贸增长46.8%中有33.3个百分点是由上述五市场拉动。

 

Henan's trade volume with the RCEP members reported a year-on-year growth of 38.9 percent to 129.78 billion yuan, while with the countries along the Belt and Road a year-on-year increase of 21.7 percent to 106.02 billion yuan.

此外，河南省对RCEP贸易伙伴进出口1297.8亿元，增长38.9%；对“一带一路”沿线国家进出口1060.2亿元，增长21.7%。

From January to August, the import and export value of comprehensive bonded zones in Henan rose by 56.3 percent to 277.95 billion yuan, accounting for 58.3 percent of the province's total foreign trade volume (3.5 percentage points higher over the same period last year) with a contribution of 65.8 percent to the province's foreign trade growth. Meanwhile, the import and export value of processing trade increased by 52.6 percent to 282.31 billion yuan (accounting for 59.2 percent of the province's total foreign trade volume), 90.6 percent of which was made by comprehensive bonded zones.

今年前8个月，河南省综合保税区进出口2779.5亿元，增长56.3%，对全省外贸增长的贡献率为65.8%，全省外贸增长46.8%中有30.8个百分点由综合保税区进出口拉动，占全省进出口总值的58.3%，比去年同期提升3.5个百分点。全省加工贸易进出口2823.1亿元，增长52.6%，占全省进出口总值的（下同）59.2%，其中河南省综保区企业开展的加工贸易进出口占全省加工贸易进出口的90.6%。

 

In addition, the volume of general trade rose by 35.4 percent to 174.41 billion yuan (accounting for 31.4 percent of the province's total foreign trade volume), while that of bonded logistics trade grew by 102.7 percent to 16.53 billion yuan (accounting for 3.5 percent).

全省一般贸易进出口1744.1亿元，增长35.4%，占36.6%；保税物流进出口165.3亿元，增长102.7%，占3.5%。

In the first 8 months, the exports of mobile phones, Henan's largest export item, accounted for 52 percent of the province's total export volume. The growth rate of the exports of hair products and unwrought silver reached 104.9 percent and 444.9 percent respectively.

手机继续保持最大单项出口产品，占全省出口的52%，人发制品、未锻造银出口增速分别高达104.9%、444.9%。

 

During the January-August period, Henan's exports of mechanical and electrical products amounted to 190.02 billion yuan with an increase of 41.9 percent year-on-year (accounting for 64.2 percent of the province's total export volume), of which 153.9 billion yuan was made by mobile phones with an increase of 47.7 percent year-on-year. Henan contributed 7.7 percent to China's total mobile phone exports, with a value accounting for 28.9 percent of China's total. The export value of labor-intensive products up by 8 percent year-on-year to 20.22 billion yuan, of which 5.73 billion yuan was made by furniture with an increase of 78.2 percent year-on-year. In addition, the export volume of hair products, aluminium products and unwrought silver stood at 11.66 billion yuan, 8.98 billion yuan, 8.93 billion yuan and 7.97 billion yuan respectively, with each increasing by 104.9 percent, 52.7 percent, 444.9 percent and minus 8.6 percent. Integrated circuits, spare parts of audio/video products and metal ores were three major imports.

今年前8个月，河南省机电产品出口1900.2亿元，增长41.9%，占全省出口的64.2%，其中手机出口1539亿元，增长47.7%，占全省出口的52%；河南省手机出口数量占全国的7.7%，出口金额却能占到全国的28.9%。劳动密集型产品出口202.2亿元，增长8%，其中家具出口57.3亿元，增长78.2%。人发制品出口116.6亿元，增长104.9%；铝材出口89.8亿元，增长52.7%；未锻造银出口89.3亿元，增长444.9%；农产品出口79.7亿元，下降8.6%。集成电路、音视频零件、金属矿砂是主要的进口商品。

 

Over the past 8 months, the import and export value of mechanical and electrical products accounted for 64.4 percent of the province's total foreign trade volume, while that of mobile phones, integrated circuits and spare parts of audio/video products 49.4 percent.

前8个月，河南省机电产品进出口占全省外贸的64.4%，其中手机、集成电路和音视频零件三项商品进出口占全省外贸的49.4%。

 

The imports and exports of Zhengzhou, Jiyuan, Sanmenxia, Xuchang, Luoyang and Jiaozuo exceeded 10 billion yuan respectively with 6 prefecture-level cities' growth rate surpassing the provincial average

During the January-August period, the import and export value of Zhengzhou saw a year-on-year increase of 46.8 percent to 330.2 billion yuan, accounting for 69.2 percent of the province's total foreign trade volume, while that of Jiyuan, Sanmenxia, Xuchang, Luoyang and Jiaozuo 142.2 percent to 26 billion yuan, 41 percent to 16.85 billion yuan, 119 percent to 16.42 billion yuan, 73.7 percent to 15.98 billion yuan and 15.2 percent to 10.5 billion yuan. Except Zhoukou and Xinxiang whose import and export value decreased 11.8 percent and 0.5 percent respectively, the growth rate of Jiyuan, Xuchang, Hebi, Luoyang, Luohe and Zhengzhou was within the range from 142.2 percent to 46.8 percent, while that of the rest prefecture-level cities from 12.1 percent to 41 percent.
