Yangshao Village National Archaeological Site Park Opened
仰韶村国家考古遗址公园开园
On October 17, a ceremony marking the opening of the Yangshao Village National Archaeological Site Park and the release of a set of stamps commemorating the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Yangshao Culture - which dates to 7,000 years ago - was held in Yangshao village of Sanmenxia city, Henan province.
10月17日，仰韶村国家考古遗址公园开园暨仰韶文化发现100周年邮票纪念册发行仪式，在三门峡渑池县仰韶村举行。
Approved by the National Cultural Heritage Administration in December 2017, the Yangshao Village National Archaeological Site Park was in the list of 2020 Henan Province Key Construction Projects Plan. The newly opened Park is featured by a center (tourist center), two venues (Yangshao Culture Museum, Johan Gunnar Andersson Memorial Hall) and two ring trenches (trenches of the Yangshao Culture and the Longshan Culture - which dates to 4,000 years ago), three squares (Shaoyuan Square, Shaoyue Square and Shaohua Square), four sites (archaeological sites commemorating the four excavations of the Yangshao ruins) and five parks (Archaeological Exhibition Park, Archaeological Experience Park, Primitive Settlement Park, etc.).
仰韶村国家考古遗址公园于2017年12月经国家文物局批准立项，为2020年河南省重点建设项目。公园采用点、线结合的形式，将仰韶文化博物馆、发掘纪念点、文化层断面、考古展示区等串联起来，形成“一中心（游客服务中心）、两馆两环（仰韶文化博物馆、安特生纪念馆、仰韶环壕、龙山环壕）、三广场（韶源广场、韶乐广场、韶华广场）、四点（仰韶村遗址四次发掘纪念点）、五园（考古展示园、考古体验园、原始聚落园、仰韶陶醉园、韶脉水乐园）”的展示结构，集遗址保护、考古价值阐释、考古发掘展示和科学研究、休闲观光等多功能于一体的考古景观。
On the same day, after nearly a year of renovation and upgrading, the Yangshao Culture Museum was also opened to the public again.
