Henan's Foreign Trade Volume Hits Record High of 718.53 Billion Yuan in First 11 Months
前11个月河南外贸总值7185.3亿元 创历史新高
In the first 11 months of 2021, the total import and export value of Central China's Henan province expanded 24.7 percent year-on-year to 718.53 billion yuan, not only exceeding its annual target of 700 billion yuan one month ahead of schedule, but also surpassing its total foreign trade registered last year, said a source from Zhengzhou Customs on December 10.
12月10日，郑州海关发布消息，今年前11个月，全省进出口总值达7185.3亿元，与去年同期（下同）相比增长24.7%，已超去年全年外贸规模，提前1个月超额完成全年7000亿元的既定目标。

Specifically, in the first 11 months, Henan's export value jumped 24.1 percent from a year earlier to 436 billion yuan while import value 25.7 percent to 282.53 billion yuan, resulting a trade surplus of 153.47 billion yuan, up 21.2 percent. Its imports and exports surged faster than the country's average, with a total foreign trade value ranking 1st in Central China and 11th across the country.
具体来说，前11个月，全省出口4360亿元，增长24.1%；进口2825.3亿元，增长25.7%，贸易顺差1534.7亿元，扩大21.2%。进出口增速均高于全国平均水平。进出口总值居中部第一、全国第11位。
Henan's private enterprises kept posting rapid growth in imports and exports, contributing most to the province's foreign trade increase. During the first 11 months, with a growth rate of 60.7 percentage points higher than the national average, the import and export value of private enterprises in Henan soared 85.4 percent year-on-year to 328.73 billion yuan, accounting for 45.8 percent of the province's total (15 percentage points higher over the same period of 2020) with a contribution rate of 106.5 percent to Henan's foreign trade growth.
民营企业进出口保持高速增长，对全省外贸增长的贡献最大。前11个月，全省民营企业进出口3287.3亿元，增长85.4%，高出全省平均增速60.7个百分点，占全省外贸总值的45.8%，比去年同期提升15个百分点，对全省外贸的贡献率为106.5%。
From January to November, among the province's top 5 trade partners (the US, the ASEAN, the EU, China's Taiwan region and South Korea), Henan's trade with the US and South Korea grew at the fastest pace with a growth rate of 42.1 percent and 60.9 percent respectively. Besides, by vigorously exploring emerging markets, Henan's trade with the RCEP members reported a year-on-year growth of 20.9 percent to 196.62 billion yuan, while with the countries along the Belt and Road a year-on-year increase of 15.8 percent to 158.37 billion yuan.
美国、东盟、欧盟、中国台湾地区和韩国是我省外贸前五大市场。其中我省对美国和韩国外贸增速最快，分别达到42.1%、60.9%。此外，我省大力开拓新兴市场，对RCEP成员国进出口值上升至1966.2亿元，增长20.9%；对“一带一路”沿线国家进出口1583.7亿元，增长15.8%。
Comprehensive bonded zones (areas) were still the main stage of Henan's foreign trade, which contributed more than 60 percent of the province's total foreign trade volume. During the first 11 months, the import and export value of comprehensive bonded zones (areas) in Henan jumped 24.6 percent year-on-year to 437.74 billion yuan with a contribution rate of 60.8 percent to the province's foreign trade growth.
综合保税区依然是进出口主阵地，在全省外贸中所占比重超过六成。前11个月，全省综合保税区进出口4377.4亿元，增长24.6%，对全省外贸的贡献率为60.8%。
Henan's imports and exports of mechanical and electrical products featured by mobile phone industry chain accounted for 66.3 percent of the province's total foreign trade value. Mobile phones, labor-intensive products, human hair products and unwrought silver were Henan's main exports while integrated circuits, spare parts of audio/video products and metal ores were its major imports.

Over the past 11 months, Henan's prefecture-level cities also showed a growth trend in their foreign trade businesses. To be specific, the import and export value of Zhengzhou saw a year-on-year increase of 20.5 percent to 509.8 billion yuan, accounting for 71 percent of the province's total foreign trade value, while that of Jiyuan, Sanmenxia, Xuchang, Luoyang, Jiaozuo, Nanyang and Xinxiang respectively exceeded 10 billion yuan with their growth rate all surpassing the provincial average.
