Full 5G Network Coverage Realized in Urban Areas above Township Level in Henan
河南实现乡镇以上5G网络全覆盖
By December 17, a total of 51.2 thousand 5G base stations had been newly opened in Central China's Henan province, bringing the total number to 96.6 thousand, ranking 5th in China, said a source from Henan Communications Administration recently. It indicates that all Henan's urban areas above the township level and parts of its rural areas have been covered by 5G network. So far, the number of 5G users across the province has reached 30.412 million, ranking 3rd in China.
日前，记者从河南省通信管理局获悉，截至12月17日，全省今年新开通5G基站5.12万个，5G基站总数突破9.66万个，居全国第5位，实现乡镇以上和农村热点区域5G网络全覆盖。全省5G终端用户达到3041.2万户，居全国第3位。
A total of 383 5G application scenarios are currently underway in Henan's 13 key smart sectors, such as agriculture, urban development, healthcare, education, mining, etc., of which 169 are 5G + Industrial Internet (intelligent manufacturing) ones.
