The half-year-long Expo Dubai 2020, kicked off in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates (the UAE) on October 1 and participated by 192 countries and international organizations, is expected to attract over 25 million visitors around the world.

迪拜世博会于今年10月1日在阿联酋迪拜开幕，为期半年，有192个国家和国际组织参展，预计吸引全球2500多万人次参观。

12月27日，“2020年迪拜世博会中国馆河南活动周”启动，郑州与迪拜云端相约，线上线下同步举行，为河南与世界深度交流提供了重要契机。

Henan's manufacturing products with competitive advantages such as the buses made by Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd., the world's first U-shaped shield tunneling machine, the world's largest hydraulic support, etc., and its latest achievements in economy, social development, agriculture, technology, the Belt and Road Initiative, etc., are presented in China Pavilion in the form of a video or a picture.

宇通客车、世界首台马蹄形盾构机、世界最大的液压支架等河南优势制造产品，以及河南在经济、社会、农业、科技、“一带一路”建设等领域所取得的最新成果，以视频、图片等形式亮相迪拜世博会中国馆。

"The UAE is an important partner of China under the Belt and Road Initiative, and the cooperation between Henan and the UAE has also expanded gradually in recent years," said Liu Bing, deputy director of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Henan Sub-Council.

“阿联酋是我国共建‘一带一路’的重要合作伙伴。近年来，豫阿合作渐入佳境。”省贸促会副会长刘兵说。

Statistically, from January to October, trade volume between Henan and Arab States reached 19.38 billion yuan, of which 6.4335 billion yuan was contributed by the trade between Henan and the UAE, up 30.7 percent from a year earlier. By the end of November, the UAE had invested 38.6 million U.S. dollars in 15 projects in Henan.

数据显示，今年1至10月，我省与阿拉伯国家进出口额合计达193.8亿元。其中，与阿联酋进出口额为64.335亿元，同比增长30.7%。截至11月底，阿联酋在河南投资项目15个，投资总额3860万美元。

Besides, Henan Nile Machinery Co., Ltd., reached an agreement on gold ore dressing with a Qatari company, while Zhengzhou Suiya Import & Export Co., Ltd., with a German company.

此外，河南尼罗河机械设备有限公司与卡塔ISMAILGOLDMINING（伊斯迈尔金矿公司）就金矿选矿生产线项目达成合作协议；郑州随雅进出口贸易有限公司与（德国）西韦德·悍能新型建材有限公司签署战略合作协议。

"Through cooperation at the Expo Dubai 2020, Henan's competitive manufacturing industry is bound to go global faster," said Liu Bing.

“通过合作，将推动河南优势制造业借助世博平台加快走向全球。”刘兵说。

The activity of "Henan Week" is an important opportunity for Henan to expand opening-up, and to increase its participation in world affairs, cooperation with other countries and global influence under the Belt and Road Initiative.

河南活动周为我省拓展对外开放空间，全面提高在共建“一带一路”中的参与度、链接度和影响力提供了新机遇。

At the opening ceremony, Henan signed a series of economic and trade cooperation agreements totaling 269 million yuan with other countries and related enterprises, covering aviation, trade, outbound investment, project development, etc.

开幕式上，我省与参与迪拜世博会的多个国家机构、相关企业等签署经贸合作协议，涵盖航空合作、贸易往来、境外投资、项目开发等领域，签约金额2.69亿元。

It is worth noting that Henan Airport Group signed an MOU with Etihad Airways. The two sides will work on an air cargo route between Zhengzhou and Abu Dhabi, capital of the UAE.

值得关注的是，河南省机场集团与阿提哈德航空公司签署《战略合作备忘录》，双方将致力于开通郑州至阿联酋首都阿布扎比的货运航线。

"It will be the first air freight route between Zhengzhou and the UAE, which will also exert a positive influence on the markets of Europe, Africa and Central Asia," said a source from Henan Airport Group.

“该货运航线开通后，将填补郑州至阿联酋的货运航线空白，进一步辐射欧洲、非洲、中亚等地区。”河南省机场集团相关负责人说。

According to Zhang Shenfeng, deputy director of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and general representative of China to the Expo Dubai 2020, Henan, enjoying a huge consumer market and an important transportation hub, is an inland opening-up highland in China. The activity of "Henan Week" will further enhance Henan's exchanges and cooperation with other countries around the world and boost its open economy.
