Over the past year, we launched a campaign of "10,000 CPPCC members solving practical problems for the public". The CPPCC members at different levels in Henan were called on to provide focused assistance in healthcare and legislation to the people living in the once poverty-stricken areas and send agricultural supplies to them. Apart from the issues related to community-level governance, they also actively put forward suggestions on those about people's livelihood, including the development of community-level public health system, the management and protection of small rural reservoirs and the pilot reform of farmers' homesteads. A total of 21,002 practical problems were handled for the public.
