Henan Sees 341 New Foreign-invested Enterprises in 2021

In 2021, Central China's Henan province embraced 341 new foreign-invested enterprises, up 28 percent from a year earlier, with the contractual foreign investment expanding 102 percent to 5.51 billion U.S. dollars and the actual use of foreign capital increasing 5 percent to 21.07 billion U.S. dollars, indicating a continuous enhancement of foreign investment vitality, remarkable increase of market entities, and huge potential in foreign capital utilization, said a source from the Department of Commerce of Henan Province on January 24.

1月24日，记者从河南省商务厅获悉，2021年，河南新设外商投资企业341家，与2020年同期相比增长28%；新增合同外资55.1亿美元，同比增长102%；实际利用外资210.7亿美元，同比增长5%。全省外商投资活力持续增强，市场主体大幅增加，利用外资后续空间大、动力强。

In 2021, 52 countries and regions around the world made investment in Henan, 33 of which established new enterprises. Specifically, 60 new enterprises were set up by the countries along the Belt and Road, up 30.4 percent from a year earlier, while 35 by the RCEP member countries.
