China-Europe Freight Train (Xinxiang) Adds a New Route to West Europe

中欧班列（新乡-西欧）线路开通 中欧班列（新乡号）进入“新双线”时代

Fully loaded with mechanical equipment, medical supplies, clothing, etc., a China-Europe freight train (Xinxiang to Western Europe) left the Economic and Technological Development Zone of Xinxiang city of Central China's Henan province for Liege of Belgium on March 22.

3月22日，一列满载机械设备、防疫物资、服装等货物的中欧班列（新乡-西欧）从新乡经开区发车，开往西欧比利时列日。

The Xinxiang-Western Europe freight train is not only a new route following the one linking Xinxiang with Central Asia, but also the first trip after the establishment of Henan Zhongyu International Port Group, marking a key and practical step to implement the agreement signed between Xinxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone and Henan Zhongyu International Port Group in last December. The launch of such a route is bound to enhance the radiating influence of Xinxiang's China-Europe freight trains in Europe and the countries along the route, thus facilitating more local enterprises to go overseas.

中欧班列（新乡-西欧）线路的开通是继“新乡-中亚”线路开通之后的又一条新通道，是河南中豫国际港务集团成立之后，推进省市合作、落实优势再造的首发班列，也是对2021年12月双方签署项目合作协议推进落实的重要行动。中欧班列（新乡-西欧）线路开通，将进一步提升新乡班列在欧洲及沿线区域的辐射力和影响力，使更多企业优质产品乘上中欧班列快车走出去。

The establishment of Henan Zhongyu International Port Group will also accelerate the cooperation between China-Europe freight train (Zhengzhou) with other prefecture-level cities within the province. The joint development of prefecture-level cities through the cooperation of China-Europe freight trains is bound to boost the opening-up of Henan effectively, bringing the advantages of freight trains across Henan together, accelerating Henan's building of an inland opening-up highland and enhancing the province's role in the Belt and Road Initiative.
