China Railway Express (Zhengzhou) Adds a New Route to Ulan Bator

一路北上至乌兰巴托 中欧班列（郑州）“中通道”扩容

On March 21, a China Railway Express (CR Express) cargo train, loaded with 100 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of goods, left Putian Station of Zhengzhou in Central China's Henan province for Ulan Bator, capital of Mongolia, via Erenhot Port in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region along the freight train's middle route.

3月21日10时15分，一列载有100个标准集装箱货物的国际货运班列从郑州铁路口岸圃田站驶出，沿着中欧班列“中通道”一路北上，经二连浩特口岸出境，最终将到达蒙古国首都乌兰巴托。

Among China's 5 CR Express assembly centers (Zhengzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an and Urumqi), Zhengzhou becomes the first to launch this route. Besides, it is also the first trip of CR Express from Central Plains to Ulan Bator.

据悉，此趟班列是中原地区和全国五大中欧班列集结中心城市首次开行至乌兰巴托的中欧班列。

So far, Zhengzhou has formed an international multimodal transport logistics network with 16 overseas stations, such as Hamburg, Munich, Liege, Moscow, Milan, Helsinki, Alma-Ata, Tashkent, Hanoi, Vientiane, Ulan Bator, etc.

随着这条线路的开通，郑州已形成至汉堡、慕尼黑、列日、莫斯科、米兰、赫尔辛基、阿拉木图、塔什干、河内、万象、乌兰巴托等16个目的站点的国际多式联运物流网络。

Ulan Bator, a city on CR Express cargo train's middle route, plays a significant role in linking China with Mongolia, Russia and the extended Eurasian Land Bridge. "We are the operator, and the exports are mainly food, furniture, sanitary ware, etc., which can be transported to Ulan Bator in about 5 days," said Li Yabing, head of Zhengzhou Zhongyuan New Silk Road International Multimodal Transport Co., Ltd. With this route, Henan's local food, building materials and mechanical equipment can be transported to Mongolia conveniently and Mongolia's abundant animal by-products and minerals can also be transported to Henan, which is bound to boost the development of the China-Mongolia-Russia economic corridor.

作为中欧班列“中通道”重要节点城市，乌兰巴托是连接中蒙俄三国及继续延伸的亚欧大陆桥的重要组成部分。“该趟班列由我们公司组织运营，满载的货物主要为食品、家具、卫浴等，5天左右就可运抵乌兰巴托。”郑州中原新丝路国际多式联运公司董事长栗亚冰说，通过这条货运新线路，河南本土生产的食品、建材、机械设备等可及时运送至蒙古国，而蒙古国丰富的畜产品和矿产也可搭乘班列输送至中原地区，并将有力促进中蒙俄经济走廊建设。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/王延辉 编译/赵汉青 审校/焦丹）
