Shirley Wood, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Foreign Languages of Henan University, died at 4 am on April 7 in Kaifeng at the age of 96.
河南大学外语学院教授、博士生导师吴雪莉先生，因病医治无效，于2022年4月7日凌晨4时在开封逝世，享年96岁。
Born in Arkansas in 1925, she joined Henan University in 1957 and became one of the first foreign teachers in China.
据了解，吴雪莉于1925年7月15日出生在美国阿肯色州，1957年到河南大学任教，是我国第一批外教之一。（视频/胡楚云 编译/赵汉青）
