Henan's Information and Communication Industry Runs Smoothly in Q1

一季度河南信息通信业经济运行总体平稳

In the first 3 months, Henan saw continuous improvement in its network capability by accelerating the construction of 5G network infrastructure. Data released by Henan Communications Administration on May 9 shows that in the first quarter, Henan's fixed-asset investment expanded 53.6 percent from a year earlier to 4.96 billion yuan, ranking 3rd in China and 42.5 percentage points higher than the national average. Among them, 2.78 billion yuan was invested in the construction of 5G network infrastructure, ranking 2nd in China. Besides, the number of 5G base stations and broadband ports reached 97.1 thousand and 58.243 million respectively, ranking 5th and 6th in China.

一季度，河南5G建设加快推进，网络能力持续提升。5月9日，记者从河南省通信管理局获悉，一季度，河南固定资产投资完成49.6亿元，居全国第3位，同比增长53.6%，比全国平均水平高42.5个百分点，其中5G投资完成27.8亿元，居全国第2位。全省5G基站、互联网宽带接入端口分别达到9.71万个、5824.3万个，分别居全国第5位、第6位。（中文来源/大河网 记者/刘高雅 编译/赵汉青 审校/张玉红）
