Henan's Air Silk Road Sees Remarkable Achievements in Past 5 Years

“空中驼铃”鸣响五年来硕果累累

郑州机场累计完成货邮吞吐量三百一十六万吨

Forklifts were shuttling back and forth at the West Cargo Terminal of Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport on June 14, offloading fashionable products which had just arrived in Zhengzhou city of Henan province from around the world. "We imported and exported more than 370 tons of clothes via Zhengzhou airport in May alone," said a local company.

6月14日，在郑州机场国际西货站，来自世界各地的货物琳琅满目，叉车来来回回，一片繁忙景象。“今年5月份，我们公司经郑州机场进出关的服装就有370多吨。”郑州丽服仓储有限公司有关负责人说。

"We exported more than 370 tons of clothes via Zhengzhou airport in May alone," said a source from a local company. Zhengzhou airport's increasing business volume is an epitome of the popularity of Henan's Air Silk Road. On June 14, 2017, Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, proposed to support building an Air Silk Road from Zhengzhou to Luxembourg. Over the past 5 years, such urgently needed products as electronics, daily necessities, etc., have been transferred at Zhengzhou airport along various international air freight routes, not only bringing Zhengzhou closer to the world, but also bridging friendship and mutual understanding.

郑州机场国际航空货运的繁忙场景，正是“空中丝绸之路”越飞越广的生动缩影。2017年6月14日，习近平总书记提出，支持建设郑州—卢森堡“空中丝绸之路”。5年来，一条条国际货运航线，将国内外急需的电子产品、民生物品等货物往来周转，使郑州与世界各地深度链接，架起国际合作联通的友谊桥、民心桥。

Since 2017, Zhengzhou airport has handled a total of 3.16 million tons of cargo, including 2.2 million tons of international cargo and 2.4 million tons of cargo transported by all-cargo planes, with the amount of the world's urgently needed cargo exceeding 70 percent. So far, Zhengzhou airport has provided services in 42 international cities with 48 all-cargo air routes. Among the world's top 20 cargo airports, 17 have been covered. A Y-shaped international air freight network spanning the three economic zones of Europe, America and Asia, covering the world's major economies and supported by multiple international airports around the world has been formed.

据统计，“空中丝绸之路”建设5年来，郑州机场累计完成货邮吞吐量316万吨，其中国际（地区）货邮吞吐量220万吨，由全货机完成运输总量240万吨，有七成以上是国际急需的民生类物资。目前，郑州机场国际（地区）通航城市增至42个，全货机航线增至48条，在全球货运前20位机场中开通17个航点，已形成横跨欧美亚三大经济区、覆盖全球主要经济体、多点支撑的国际货运航线网络。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/宋敏 编译/赵汉青 实习生/何蒙贺 审校/焦丹）
