News from Zhengzhou Customs on June 14 -- In the first 5 months of this year, Henan's import and export value reached 332.25 billion yuan, up 7.1 percent from a year earlier and 78.4 percent over the same period in 2020, of which 204.2 billion yuan was contributed by exports while 128.05 billion yuan by imports.

6月14日，郑州海关发布数据显示，今年前5个月，河南外贸进出口总值3322.5亿元，与去年同期相比（下同）增长7.1%，较2020年前5个月增长78.4%。其中，出口2042亿元，进口1280.5亿元。

In May alone, with the growth rate 6.5 percentage points higher than the national average, the import and export value of Henan saw a year-on-year increase of 16.1 percent (a month-on-month rise of 0.3 percent) to 64.17 billion yuan, of which 39.63 billion yuan was contributed by exports while 24.54 billion yuan by imports. Henan's January-May total import and export value ranked 11th in China while 1st in Central China.

2022年5月，河南外贸进出口641.7亿元，同比增长16.1%，环比增长0.3%，其中出口396.3亿元，进口245.4亿元。5月，河南进出口增速高于全国增速6.5个百分点。今年前5个月，河南外贸进出口总值居全国第11位，稳居中部第1位。

In the first 5 months, the import and export value of processing trade increased 0.7 percent year-on-year to 195.94 billion yuan (accounting for 59 percent of the provincial total and 3.8 percentage points lower from a year earlier), while that of general trade 15.5 percent to 119.88 billion yuan (36.1 percent of the provincial total and 2.6 percentage points higher from a year earlier) and of bonded logistics trade 48.7 percent to 15.27 billion yuan.

前5个月，河南以加工贸易方式进出口1959.4亿元，增长0.7%，占河南外贸进出口总值的59%，比去年同期减少3.8个百分点；以一般贸易方式进出口1198.8亿元，增长15.5%，占36.1%，增加2.6个百分点；以保税物流方式进出口152.7亿元，增长48.7%。

Import and export growth rate of private and state-owned enterprises surpasses the provincial average

民营企业和国有企业进出口增速高于全省外贸增速

During the January-May period, the import and export value of private and state-owned enterprises expanded 17.3 percent to 154.32 billion yuan (46.4 percent of the provincial total and 4.1 percentage points higher from a year earlier) and 11.1 percent to 28.38 billion yuan year-on-year respectively, while that of foreign-invested ones decreased 1.7 percent to 147.91 billion yuan (44.5 percent of the provincial total).

前5个月，河南民营企业进出口1543.2亿元，增长17.3%，占河南外贸进出口总值的46.4%，占比增加4.1个百分点；外商投资企业进出口1479.1亿元，下降1.7%，占44.5%；国有企业进出口283.8亿元，增长11.1%。

By the end of May, Henan's exports of mechanical and electrical products stood at 127.6 billion yuan with a decrease of 4 percent year-on-year (62.5 percent of the provincial total exports), of which 102.7 billion yuan was contributed by mobile phones with a decrease of 8.2 percent (50.3 percent of the provincial total exports), 13.07 billion yuan by labor-intensive products with an increase of 17.9 percent (of which 3.84 billion yuan was made by textiles, up 22.8 percent from a year earlier), and 2.72 billion yuan by clothing with an increase of 26.6 percent. It is worth noting that the export value of aluminium products jumped 143.4 percent to 11.56 billion yuan.

To the end of this May, Henan's imports of mechanical and electrical products reported a year-on-year increase of 12.1 percent to 85.34 billion yuan, accounting for 66.6 percent of the provincial total imports. Among them, the import value of integrated circuits and audio/video equipment and their parts rose 8.9 percent to 41.21 billion yuan and 43.8 percent to 21.16 billion yuan respectively while that of flat panel display modules (new HS Code) totaled 8.16 billion yuan. Their total import value occupied 55.1 percent the provincial total imports. Besides, the import value of crude oil reached 4.75 billion yuan, up 178.6 percent from a year earlier, accounting for 3.7 percent of the provincial total imports. Its import volume of expanded 81.4 percent with an average price rising 53.6 percent. In the first 5 months, the import and export value of mobile phones, integrated circuits, spare parts of audio/video products and flat panel display modules occupied 52.7 percent of the provincial total.

前5个月，河南机电产品进口853.4亿元，增长12.1%，占全省进口的66.6%。其中，集成电路进口412.1亿元，增长8.9%；音视频设备及其零件进口211.6亿元，增长43.8%，平板显示模组进口81.6亿元（新增HS编码，暂无同比数据），三项合计占全省进口的55.1%。此外，原油进口47.5亿元，增长178.6%，占全省进口的3.7%（原油进口量增加81.4%、均价上涨53.6%）。前5个月，手机、集成电路、音视频零件、平板显示模组等4项商品进出口值占全省外贸进出口总值的52.7%。

During the January-May period, the import and export value of Zhengzhou up 4.4 percent year-on-year to 233.22 billion yuan, accounting for 70.2 percent of the provincial total. Besides, the import and export value of Sanmenxia, Nanyang and Luoyang up 1 percent, 54.4 percent and 4.3 percent to 11.39 billion yuan, 9.18 billion yuan and 8.89 billion yuan respectively, while that of Jiyuan decreased 15.3 percent to 13.74 billion yuan. The growth rate of 9 prefecture-level cities including Hebi, Puyang, Pingdingshan and Zhumadian was within the range of 108.6 percent to 12.9 percent, surpassing the provincial average.
