On July 7, a news briefing was held by the Information Office of the People's Government of Henan Province to introduce the plan for Henan's public health system during the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) and to answer questions from journalists.

7月7日，河南省人民政府新闻办公室召开河南省“奋进十四五 建功新时代”系列第十三场新闻发布会，介绍和解读河南“十四五”公共卫生体系和全民健康规划的有关情况，并回答记者提问。

 

During the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), what measures will Henan take to better inherit and innovate traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)? According to Zhang Jianfeng, an official from Henan Health Commission, Henan will spare no efforts to establish a national TCM medical center, 3 national (TCM) regional medical centers and a batch of provincial centers specialized in TCM, thus boosting the coordinated and balanced development of high-quality TCM resources across the province. Besides, Henan will perfect the setting of TCM departments in general hospitals and maternity and childcare institutions and establish a TCM service system covering the whole province by building 671 new TCM halls at the grassroots level to ensure that people can enjoy TCM services conveniently.

“十四五”期间，河南如何做好中医药传承创新工作，加快推进中医药振兴发展？河南省卫生健康委二级巡视员张建锋回答记者提问时表示，河南将全力争取国家中医医学中心，建好3个国家（中医）区域医疗中心，打造一批省级中医专科中心，发挥龙头带动作用，促使优质中医医疗资源上下联动，均衡发展；完善综合医院、妇幼保健机构中医药科室设置；再建671个中医馆，实现中医馆全覆盖，筑牢基层中医药服务网络，让群众“在家门口看上好中医”。（中文来源/大河网 记者/赵檬 编译/赵汉青 何蒙贺 海报/王君艺 审校/陈行洁）
