Henan's Foreign Trade Rises 7.9% in H1

上半年全省外贸总值同比增长7.9% 顺利实现“双过半”

News from Zhengzhou Customs on July 18 -- In the first half of 2022, the import and export value of Central China's Henan province expanded by 7.9 percent year-on-year to 395.83 billion yuan, ranking 11th in China and 1st in Central China, of which 245.72 billion yuan was contributed by exports while 150.11 billion yuan by imports, each increasing by 7 percent and 9.3 percent from a year earlier and exceeding the annual target, with a growth rate higher than expected.

7月18日，记者从郑州海关获悉，今年上半年，我省进出口总值达3958.3亿元，与去年同期相比增长7.9%，总值居全国第11位、稳居中部第1位。其中，出口值2457.2亿元、同比增长7%，进口值1501.1亿元、同比增长9.3%，增速高于预期目标，按照我省今年的外贸发展目标，顺利实现“双过半”。

Trade structure became more balanced. In the first half of 2022, the import and export value of processing trade expanded by 3.2 percent year-on-year to 230.08 billion yuan, accounting for 58.1 percent of the provincial total, 2.6 percentage points lower from a year earlier, while that of general trade rose by 12 percent to 144.92 billion yuan, accounting for 36.6 percent of the provincial total, 1.4 percentage points higher over the last year. Besides, the import and export value of bonded logistics was 18.99 billion yuan with a year-on-year increase of 53.4 percent. The proportion of general trade gradually increased, indicating that foreign trade has played a stronger role in promoting industrial development and contributed more to economic growth, said a source from Zhengzhou Customs.

看贸易方式，全省贸易结构更加均衡合理。上半年，全省以加工贸易方式进出口值2300.8亿元，同比增长3.2%，占同期全省外贸总值的58.1%，比去年同期减少2.6个百分点；以一般贸易方式进出口值1449.2亿元，同比增长12%，占比36.6%，增加1.4个百分点。以保税物流方式进出口值189.9亿元，同比增长53.4%。郑州海关相关负责人表示，一般贸易方式占比逐步提升，说明外贸对我省产业的拉动作用更强，对经济增长的贡献更大。

Significant achievements were made in developing new international markets. In the first half of 2022, Henan’s foreign trade with its major partners, including the US, the ASEAN, the EU, etc., all saw positive growth, while that with the RCEP member countries and the countries under the Belt and Road Initiative reached 113.2 billion yuan and 105.47 billion yuan respectively, each increasing by 12.2 percent and 28.4 percent from a year earlier with a growth rate higher than the provincial average.

看贸易对象，新国际市场开拓成效明显。上半年，我省对美国、东盟、欧盟等主要贸易伙伴进出口均保持正增长。全省与RCEP成员国进出口值1132亿元，同比增长12.2%；与“一带一路”沿线国家进出口值1054.7亿元，同比增长28.4%，增速均高于全省平均增速。

Vitality of foreign trade enterprises continued to strengthen, with private enterprises seeing the fastest growth rate. The import and export value of private enterprises expanded by 16.1 percent year-on-year to 187.17 billion yuan, accounting for 47.3 percent of the provincial total, up 3.4 percentage points from a year earlier, while that of foreign-funded enterprises rose by 0.9 percent to 172.96 billion yuan, accounting for 43.7 percent of the provincial total. Besides, the export and export value of state-owned enterprises saw a year-on-year increase of 9.6 percent to 33.94 billion yuan.

看市场主体，外贸经营主体活力持续增强，其中我省民营企业进出口增速仍保持最快。其中，全省民营企业进出口值1871.7亿元，同比增长16.1%，占同期全省外贸总值的47.3%，占比增加3.4个百分点；外商投资企业进出口值1729.6亿元，同比增长0.9%，占43.7%；国有企业进出口值339.4亿元，同比增长9.6%。

Mechanical and electrical products were still Henan’s main exports, and the growth rate of labor-intensive products, aluminum materials and agricultural products was higher than the provincial average in terms of exports. Spare parts of mobile phones, metallic mineral ore and crude oil were Henan's main imports. Statistically, in the first half of 2022, the export value of mobile phones decreased by 5.1 percent year-on-year to 120.88 billion yuan, accounting for 49.2 percent of the province's total export value, while that of labor-intensive products and agricultural products expanded by 16.3 percent (the growth rate of textiles and clothing exceeding 20 percent) and 63.5 percent year-on-year to 16.31 billion yuan and 9.18 billion yuan respectively.

分析进出口产品，机电产品仍是我省主要出口产品，劳动密集型产品、铝材、农产品出口值增速明显高于全省出口值增速。手机零部件、金属矿砂及原油是我省主要的进口商品。数据显示，上半年全省手机出口值1208.8亿元，同比下降5.1%，占全省出口值的49.2%。劳动密集型产品出口值163.1亿元，同比增长16.3%，其中纺织品、服装出口增速均超过20%。农产品出口值91.8亿元，同比增长63.5%。

The import and export value of Zhengzhou expanded by 6.6 percent from a year earlier to 274.83 billion yuan, accounting for 69.4 percent of the provincial total, while that of other 6 prefecture-level cities (demonstration zone), namely Jiyuan, Sanmenxia, Nanyang, Xuchang, Luoyang and Jiaozuo all exceeded 10 billion yuan.
