China Successfully Launches 'Henan-1' Satellite
“河南一号”卫星发射成功
On August 10, "Henan-1" satellite was successfully launched into orbitfrom the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in North China's Shanxi province, becoming the first remote sensing satellite named "Henan" in space.
8月10日，首颗以“河南”命名的卫星——“河南一号”卫星在太原卫星发射中心发射升空并顺利进入预定轨道，发射任务圆满成功。
Developed by Henan province with Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd., "Henan-1" has a 1-meter imaging resolution with a revisit and data obtaining time of no more than half an hour. It is of great significance for Henan to capture the future emerging industries and drive the high-quality development of satellite industry.
“河南一号”卫星是由我省与长光卫星技术股份有限公司以合作模式建设的首颗遥感卫星，其影像分辨率优于1米，具备半小时重访及获取数据能力。该卫星的成功发射，对我省抢占新兴产业发展制高点，带动卫星产业高质量发展具有重要意义。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/谭勇 编译/赵汉青 杨佳欣 审校/陈行洁）
