Henan's Jan-July Import and Export Volume Exceeds 450 Billion Yuan

News from Zhengzhou Customs on August 12 -- In the first 7 months of this year, Henan's import and export value reached 453.25 billion yuan, up 6.5 percent year on year (the same below) and 63.4 percent over the same period in 2020, of which 283.25 billion yuan was contributed by exports with an increase of 6.1 percent while 170 billion yuan by imports with an increase of 7.3 percent, resulting in a trade surplus of 113.25 billion yuan with a surge of 4.4 percent.

8月12日，郑州海关发布消息，前7个月，我省进出口总值4532.5亿元，与去年同期相比（下同）增长6.5%，较2020年同期增长63.4%。其中，出口2832.5亿元，增长6.1%；进口1700亿元，增长7.3%。贸易顺差1132.5亿元，扩大4.4%。

Comprehensive bonded zones (areas), an important platform for Henan's opening-up to the outside world, contributed 258.19 billion yuan or 57 percent to the provincial total. Besides, more remarkable progress had been made in expanding into emerging markets for international trade. Henan's trade volume with the US declined while with the ASEAN, the EU and South Korea increased. It is worth noting that Henan's trade volume with countries under the RCEP agreement and the Belt and Road Initiative exhibited faster growth than the provincial average. Specifically, its trade volume with the RCEP member countries reported a growth of 13.8 percent to 130.63 billion yuan while with countries along the Belt and Road 29.6 percent to 122.16 billion yuan.

作为我省重要的开放平台，综保区进出口值合计达2581.9亿元，占比达到57%。同时，国际贸易新兴市场开拓成效更加明显。我省对美国进出口下降，对东盟、欧盟和韩国等进出口保持增长，对RCEP和“一带一路”进出口增速较快。其中对RCEP成员国进出口1306.3亿元，增长13.8%；与“一带一路”沿线国家进出口1221.6亿元，增长29.6%，增速均高于全省平均水平。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/孙静 编译/赵汉青 海报/何蒙贺 审校/陈行洁）
