Henan to Hold an International Forum on Air Silk Road in Nov

又一国际盛会将花开河南 郑州—卢森堡“空中丝绸之路”国际合作论坛获国家批复

The request has been approved for holding the International Cooperation Forum on Zhengzhou-Luxembourg "Air Silk Road" in Zhengzhou city of Henan province in November with the theme of "To Make China-Luxembourg 'Air Silk Road' Bigger and Stronger", said a source from the Development and Reform Commission of Henan Province.

8月21日，记者从省发展改革委获悉，郑州—卢森堡“空中丝绸之路”国际合作论坛已获国家批复，将于11月在郑州举办，论坛主题是“做大做强中卢货运航线‘空中丝路’”。

According to the organizing committee, the forum will be by far the grandest event during Henan's construction of "Air Silk Road". Hosted by the People's Government of Henan Province, the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works of Luxembourg, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Civil Aviation Administration of China, and sponsored by the Development and Reform Commission of Henan Province, the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Henan Province, the Belt and Road Construction Promotion Center of the National Development and Reform Commission, the International Cooperation and Service Center of Civil Aviation Administration of China, the People's Government of Zhengzhou, the Management Committee of Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, the Cargolux Airlines International, Henan Civil Aviation Development & Investment Group and Henan Airport Group, the forum will also gain support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

据论坛组委会工作人员介绍，在我省“空中丝绸之路”建设历程上，此次论坛规模、规格再创新高。论坛的主办单位是河南省人民政府、卢森堡交通和公共工程部、国家发展和改革委员会、中国民航局，承办单位是省发展改革委、省政府外事办、国家发展改革委“一带一路”建设促进中心、中国民航局国际合作服务中心、郑州市人民政府、郑州航空港区管委会、卢森堡国际货运航空公司、河南民航发展投资集团、河南省机场集团。论坛还将获得外交部的特别支持。

During the forum, hundreds of business and academic leaders at home and abroad will gather together for promoting the development of the "Air Silk Road". Various activities will be held online and offline with a series of key plans and reports released for the development of the "Air Silk Road" during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25). Besides, a large number of relevant project agreements will be signed.

论坛举办期间，将有数百名境内外业界、学界大咖齐聚一堂，共商“空中丝绸之路”发展。据悉，本次论坛将采取线下线上结合的形式举办多场活动，并将有一系列重磅规划、报告发布，为“十四五”期间“空中丝绸之路”发展擘画路线图。同时，还将有一大批支撑“空中丝绸之路”发展的大项目、好项目、新项目签约落地。

According to Zhu Yongming, professor at Zhengzhou University and director of the Collaborative Technology Engineering Research Center for "Belt and Road" Cross-border E-commerce and Multimodal Transport, this forum is bound to spread the "Air Silk Road" further and inject new impetus into the opening-up of Henan.
