Nearly 70,000 Patents Granted in Henan in H1

上半年河南省专利授权量近七万件

In the first half of this year, 69,545 patents were granted in Henan province, which was basically flat compared with the same period of last year, ranking 3rd in Central China, said a source from Henan Intellectual Property Office on August 23. The number of invention patents authorized in Henan during the January-June period reported a year-on-year increase of 13.6 percent to 7,396, while the ownership of valid invention patents 24.8 percent to 61,903.

8月23日，记者从河南省知识产权局获悉，今年上半年，全省专利授权量达69545件，与上年同期基本持平，在中部六省中排名第三。其中，发明专利授权量达7396件，同比增长13.6%；有效发明专利拥有量达61903件，同比增长24.8%。

Statistics shows that in the first half of this year, the number of valid invention patents per 10,000 people in Henan reached 6.23 while that of PCT international patent applications 87. Besides, the number of trademarks in Henan totaled 1.641 million at the end of June with 164.1 thousand newly registered during the period, standing at the forefront in China.
