16 Henan Items Exhibited at 7th China ICH Expo

第七届中国非物质文化遗产博览会开幕

河南16项非遗精彩亮相

The 7th China Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Expo, hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the People's Government of Shandong, kicked off in Jinan city of Shandong province on August 25. Apart from 4 enterprises of ICH foods, 16 ICH items like Taijiquan, Drum Opera of Guangshan and techniques of Yangshao painted pottery and tri-colored glazed porcelain are also presented at the expo, showing the brilliant culture of Central Plains.

8月25日，由文化和旅游部、山东省人民政府共同主办的第七届中国非物质文化遗产博览会在济南开幕。太极拳、光山花鼓戏、仰韶彩陶制作工艺、唐三彩烧制技艺……河南有16个非遗项目及4个非遗美食企业亮相博览会，它们以展示、展演方式呈现中原优秀传统文化的独特魅力。

Held every two years, China Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo is an important event in China to display the achievements, enhancing the concept and advancing the progress of ICH protection.

中国非遗博览会每两年举办一届，是非遗领域的全国性重要品牌活动，已成为展示非遗保护成果、宣传非遗保护理念、引领非遗保护工作的重要平台。

It is worth noting that the guest province of honor mechanism is launched at the expo for the first time. Henan, serving as the guest province of honor, has 16 ICH items and 4 ICH food enterprises at the expo, of which Drum Opera of Guangshan has been featured in the section of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Conservation Achievements Since the 18th CPC National Congress.

值得一提的是，本届非遗博览会引入主宾省参与机制，河南作为主宾省，携16个非遗项目、4个非遗美食企业参展。其中，信阳光山花鼓戏亮相党的十八大以来全国非遗保护成果展。

Drum Opera, a folk art, is home to Guangshan county of Xinyang city, Henan province, with unique styles by absorbing different art forms.
