A news conference themed "China in the Past Decade·Henan" was held by the CPC Henan Provincial Committee in Zhengzhou city of Henan province on the morning of August 28. Over the past 10 years, Henan has completed the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects and embarked on a new journey to modernization with remarkable progress achieved and a great leap forward in comprehensive strength.

8月28日上午，中共河南省委“中国这十年·河南”主题新闻发布会在郑州举行。十年来，河南开拓进取，接续奋斗，全面建成了小康社会，开启了现代化河南建设新征程，取得了一些具有标志性意义的重要成果，实现了综合实力的重大跨越。

Over the past 10 years, Henan's GDP has reached a new height from 3 trillion yuan to 5 trillion yuan and is expected to exceed 6 trillion yuan this year, with the per capita disposable income jumping from 12,772 yuan in 2012 to 26,811 yuan in 2021.

十年来，河南GDP实现了30000亿元、40000亿元、50000亿元的跨越，今年有把握超过60000亿元。居民人均可支配收入从2012年的12772元增长到2021年的26811元，实现了翻番。

A series of policies have been implemented to promote sci-tech and institutional innovations. In 2021, Henan's R&D investment exceeded 100 billion yuan.

打出科技创新和制度创新两个轮子一起转的系列“组合拳”。2021年河南研发经费投入突破1000亿元。

Henan has developed 75.80 million mu (1 mu equals 0.067 hectares) of high-standard farmland with its total grain output exceeding 130 billion jin (1 jin equals 0.5 kg) for 5 consecutive years.

501公里

A 501-kilometer standardized embankment has been built along the banks of the Yellow River and the relocation of 300 thousand residents in the Yellow River beach area has basically been completed.

在黄河两岸建成501公里标准化堤防，30万滩区居民迁建任务基本完成。

7.186 million registered poor people have shaken off poverty and 53 designated poor counties have got rid of poverty.

718.6万建档立卡贫困人口全部脱贫，53个贫困县全部摘帽。

The number of museums in Henan has jumped from 180 to 361. Besides, Henan has 14 archaeological items listed among "China's 100 Major Archaeological Discoveries in Last 100 Years", ranking 1st nationwide.

全省博物馆从180座增加至361座。14项考古项目入选“全国百年百大考古发现”，数量居全国首位。

　　

7,216 Kilometers

7216公里

Henan has become the first province in China to have a 米-shaped high-speed rail network with all its prefecture-level cities connected by high-speed railways, and 7,216 kilometers of expressways, 6,715 kilometers of railways and 1,725 kilometers of inland waterways built at the end of 2021.

实现“市市通高铁”，率先建成“米”字形高铁网。高速公路通车里程达7216公里，铁路通车里程达6715公里，内河航道里程达1725公里。

　　

820.81 Billion Yuan

8208.1亿元

In 2021, the import and export value of Henan totaled 820.81 billion yuan, 2.5 times that of 2012, with an average annual increase of 10.8 percent, 5.43 percentage points higher than the national average.

2021年货物进出口8208.1亿元，是2012年的2.5倍，年均增长10.8%，高于全国平均水平5.43个百分点。

The gross enrollment rate of preschool education reached 90.8 percent, 26 percentage points higher than that of 2012, while that of higher education 53.13 percent, 25.91 percentage points higher. With the campaign to cultivate high-skilled talents launched, the total number of skilled talents in Henan has exceeded 13 million.

学前教育毛入园率达90.8%，比2012年提高26个百分点；高等教育毛入学率达53.13%，比2012年提高25.91个百分点。开展“人人持证、技能河南”建设，全省技能人才总量超1300万人。

The number of market entities in Henan has reached 8.5 million at the end of 2021, 3 times that of 10 years ago, with the enterprises' satisfaction with Henan's business environment jumping to 90 percent.

2021年全省市场主体突破850万户，是十年前的3倍，企业对营商环境满意度提升至90%。
