Henan's Enterprises See Profit Surge in January-July Period

In the first seven months, enterprises included in the monthly report on enterprises' performance in Henan witnessed a steady and continuous recovery with increased revenue and profit thanks to a package of preferential policies launched, said a source from the Department of Finance of Henan Province on August 29.
8月29日，河南省财政厅发布消息称，随着我省稳经济一揽子政策落地实施，纳入财政部门统计范围的快报企业（以下简称全省企业）经济持续保持企稳回升态势，今年1-7月收入、利润同比实现增长。
Specifically, the revenue of the above-mentioned enterprises expanded 15.8 percent year-on-year to 2,227.99 billion yuan with their profit jumping 5.4 percent to 92.43 billion yuan, tax payable 15.1 percent to 124.81 billion yuan and tax paid 21.8 percent to 136.34 billion yuan.
1-7月，全省企业营业总收入22279.9亿元，同比增长15.8%；利润总额924.3亿元，同比增长5.4%；应交税金1248.1亿元，同比增长15.1%；已交税金1363.4亿元，同比增长21.8%。
The increase in R&D investment boosted the profitability of enterprises. From January to July, the R&D expenditure of enterprises in Henan totaled 32.86 billion yuan with an increase of 31.2 percent year-on-year, showing a trend of continuous growth in the past three years. The ratio of R&D expenditure to revenues reached 1.5 percent, 0.2 percentage points higher compared with the same period of last year.
研发投入的加大助推企业盈利能力提升。1-7月，全省企业研发费用持续增加，研发投入强度提升。全省企业研发费用328.6亿元，同比增长31.2%，近三年持续增长。研发费用投入强度（研发费用/营业总收入）为1.5%，同比提高0.2个百分点。（中文来源/大河网 文/路娇 编译/赵汉青 杨佳欣 审校/张军平）
