Over 19 Million Mu of High-standard Farmland under Construction in Henan
河南省在建高标准农田超过1900万亩
More than 19 million mu (1 mu equals about 666 square meters) of high-standard farmland is under construction in Central China's Henan province this year with a total investment exceeding 30 billion yuan, hitting a record high, said a source from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Henan Province.
记者从河南省农业农村厅获悉，全省今年在建高标准农田总面积超过1900万亩、总投资超过300亿元，创历史之最。
After years of efforts, Henan has built 75.80 million mu of high-standard farmland, securing its stable and high yield for many years.
经过多年来共同努力，全省累计建成高标准农田7580万亩，为我省粮食连年稳产高产提供了重要支撑。
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), Henan will build 15 million mu of high-standard farmland on the North China Plain and in the Nanyang Basin with an investment of 3,000 to 4,000 yuan per mu. This year, Henan will build 1 million mu of demonstration areas of high-standard farmland in Xinxiang and Zhoukou respectively. So far, more than 2 million mu of such demonstration areas have been built across Henan.
根据规划，“十四五”期间，我省将在黄淮海平原和南阳盆地规划建设1500万亩高标准农田示范区，亩均总投资3000—4000元。今年，我省将在新乡和周口各开工建设100万亩高标准农田示范区。目前，全省已累计建成高标准农田示范区200多万亩。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/李运海 编译/赵汉青 杨佳欣 海报/何蒙贺 审校/张军平）
