致敬农民 礼赞丰收
The traditional Chinese solar calendar divides a year into 24 solar terms. Autumn Equinox (Chinese: 秋分), the 16th solar term, begins this year on Sept 23. Starting this day, most parts of China will enter the season of autumn harvest, ploughing and sowing.
9月23日9时4分迎来秋分节气，中国大部分地区开始进入秋收、秋耕、秋种的“三秋”时节，田间地头洋溢着丰收喜悦。

In 2018, Autumn Equinox took on a new role as the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, China's first official festival set up specially for farmers at the national level. September 23 this year marks the 5th Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival. On this day, various activities will be held across China to pay tribute to farmers and celebrate harvest.
2018年，国家把秋分定为“中国农民丰收节”，这是首个在国家层面专门为农民设立的法定节日。今年9月23日是第五个“中国农民丰收节”。在这一天，全国各地都会以各种形式来致敬农民，礼赞丰收。
In Central China's Henan province, a series of activities will also be scheduled on this day to show the highlights of Henan in ensuring national food security and promoting rural vitalization.
