A book by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on the Party's rule-based governance, has been published by the Central Party Literature Press.
The book, compiled by the Institute of the Party History and Literature of the CPC Central Committee, contains 400 sections of Xi's discourses on the Party's rule-based governance, which are selected from more than 180 reports, speeches, articles and instructions made by him from Nov 15, 2012 to June 17, 2022.
Some of them were published for the first time, a statement on the book's publication said on Friday.
The CPC has made it clear that the Party's rule-based governance, which shall be rigorously exercised in line with regulation, is key to governing the country.
Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC in 2012, the CPC Central Committee with Xi at the core has been adhering to the Party's rule-based governance in a rigorous manner and has greatly improved the intra-Party regulation and systems.
Xi has made a series of important discourses on the Party's rule-based governance, which are significant in playing the role of intra-Party regulation in upholding the central and unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee and ensuring the Party's long-term governance over the country and the country's long-lasting tranquillity and stability, the statement said.
Xi's relevant discourses also have great relevance to ensuring that the Party is always a strong leadership core in the historical process of upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, and providing a strong political guarantee for building a modern socialist country in all respects and comprehensively advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the statement added.
