Hongqi Canal in Anyang, Henan

The Hongqi Canal is located in Linzhou, a county-level city of Anyang city, Henan province. In the 1960s, with the support of the Party and the local government, the people of Linxian county (today’s Linzhou) built an irrigation project on the steep Taihang Mountains, which is dubbed the "man-made river in the sky".
