Henan Sees Largest Number of Water Conservancy Projects Completed in China

十年来河南省重大水利工程竣工验收数量全国第一

By the end of September, Central China's Henan province had invested 27.817 billion yuan in its 10 major water conservancy projects, accounting for 80.1 percent of the total planned investment of 34.7 billion yuan, said local authority on October 26. Over the past decade, the number of major water conservancy projects that have completed and passed quality acceptance in Henan has jumped to the first place in China.

10月26日，记者从河南省水利厅了解到，截至9月底，总投资347亿元的全省十大水利工程已累计完成投资278.17亿元。随着建设不断提速，十年来，河南省重大水利工程的竣工验收数量位居全国第一。

In the past decade, Henan's investment in water conservancy facilities has reached a new high and its achievements in water control and development are also remarkable, with 461 projects completed, including 15 large and medium-sized reservoirs, 66 large and medium-sized sluices, 375 general river control projects, 1 key river control project and 4 major water-saving and water supply projects.

近十年，河南省水利投资连创新高，治水兴水成效显著，先后完成了15座大中型水库、66座大中型水闸、375个河道治理和1条骨干河道、4个节水供水重大工程，共461个项目的竣工验收。

The report delivered to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China stressed acting on the people-centered philosophy of development. With a series of major water conservancy projects completed and put into operation, Henan has initially built a modern water network, which is bound to benefit its people and development.
