Henan's grain output totaled about 67.89 billion kg this year with an increase of 2.45 billion kg or 3.7 percent over 2021, ranking 2nd in China, said local authority on December 13. Henan has been playing a greater role in ensuring China's food security with its total grain output stabilizing at over 65 billion kg for six consecutive years.

12月13日，国家统计局河南调查总队发布消息称，经对全省夏、秋粮监测调查，并报国家统计局核准，2022年河南粮食总产量为1357.87亿斤，位居全国第二，比上年增产49.03亿斤，增长3.7%。河南粮食总产量连续6年稳定在1300亿斤以上，为保障国家粮食安全持续贡献河南力量。（李连凡/文 杨佳欣 何蒙贺/译）
