An archaeological survey of a group of royal mausoleums of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770 BC-256 BC) has been launched in Jincun village of Luoyang city in January of 2022. The archaeological survey is scheduled to comprise 3 phases and last for 5 years. Detailed exploration and modern geophysical exploration technologies will be utilized to probe into the mausoleum area, but this will not involve the kings' tombs. Archaeologists said that many tombs of Eastern Zhou dukes have previously been found in the country, but none of the tombs of the kings of the dynasty, of the highest grade, have been discovered in its entirety so far. 2022年1月，洛阳金村东周王陵考古调查与勘测工作正式启动。本次考古工作初步计划分为3个阶段，历时5年完成，旨在厘清洛阳金村东周王陵区文化遗存基本情况，但不涉及对东周陵寝的发掘。据了解，春秋战国时期是我国古代陵墓制度转型的关键时期。迄今为止，国内已发现多处东周诸侯墓，但最高等级的东周天子墓却一直没有完整发现。将来会有哪些重大发现，一起拭目以待吧！
