Henan's Actual Use of Foreign Investment Up 118.24% in 2022

2022年河南省实际使用外资增长118.24%

Data from the Ministry of Commerce of China shows that a total of 329 foreign-funded enterprises were newly established in Henan in 2022, according to the Department of Commerce of Henan Province on January 29. Meanwhile, the actual use of foreign investment totaled 1.779 billion U.S. dollars, up 118.24 percent year on year.

记者1月29日从河南省商务厅获悉，根据商务部最新统计数据，2022年河南省新设外商投资企业329家，实际使用外资17.79亿美元，比上年增长118.24%。

Despite the grave and complex international situation in 2022, Henan still did a good job in promoting foreign-invested projects. Statistically, Henan attracted investment from 36 countries and regions around the world last year. 14 countries of the Belt and Road Initiative, including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Russia and the United Arab Emirates, set up 31 enterprises in Henan with paid-in funds totaling 980 million U.S. dollars, while the RCEP member countries set up 37 and contributed 86.68 million U.S. dollars to the province's total actual use of foreign investment.

据了解，面对复杂严峻的国际形势，河南省不断扩大外资来源地，推动外资工作打开新局面。2022年，河南省使用外资涉及36个国家或地区。“一带一路”沿线14个国家，如新加坡、马来西亚、越南、缅甸、俄罗斯、阿联酋等国家在河南省新设外资企业31家，实际到位资金9.8亿美元；RCEP成员国在河南省新设37家外资企业，实际使用外资8668万美元。（中文来源/河南日报 记者/孙静 编译/杨佳欣 审校/丁岚）
