Henan's Transport Infrastructure Investment Hits 159.85 Billion Yuan in 2022
2022年，河南交通基础设施累计完成投资1598.5亿元
Central China's Henan province plans to complete an investment of 150.5 billion yuan in transportation infrastructure construction in 2023, according to the provincial transportation work conference on March 3. Besides, taking new infrastructure construction as a direction for breakthrough and focusing on the construction of a comprehensive transportation network, Henan will commence and complete the construction of a batch of major projects.
3月3日，河南省交通运输工作会议在郑州召开。记者从会上了解到，今年河南省计划完成交通基础设施投资1505亿元，以新基建为突破口，聚焦联网补网强链，储备一批、新开一批、在建一批、竣工一批交通重大项目。
In 2022, Henan completed an investment of 159.85 billion yuan in transportation infrastructure construction, an increase of 36.7 percent year-on-year, with a growth rate ranking first in China. Besides, highways and waterways in Henan handled 190 million passenger trips and 2.48 billion tons of cargo last year. It is also worth noting that 102 customized passenger lines were opened, serving 1.05 million passengers last year, and 8,674 specialized transport vehicles serving cold chain and container logistics were put into operation.
2022年，河南省交通基础设施累计完成投资1598.5亿元，同比增长36.7%，增速居全国第一。全省公路水路完成客运量1.9亿人次，货运量24.8亿吨，开通定制客运线路102条，累计服务105万人次，新增冷链、集装箱等专业运输车辆8674辆。
According to the plan, by 2025, Henan will have more than 10 thousand kilometers of expressways open to traffic, about 250 thousand kilometers of rural roads and 2 thousand kilometers of inland waterways, with the mileage of Class II highways at and above the provincial level accounting for over 75 percent of the total. Besides, Henan will be developed into a hub economy pilot area and a demonstration area with strong transportation network by then with a "米+井+人"-shaped comprehensive transportation network completely built.
