Henan's Economy Shows a Steady Recovery in Jan-Feb

河南省统计局发布今年前两个月全省经济数据——经济稳定恢复回升 实现良好开局

 

The growth rate of the main economic indicators of Central China's Henan province in the first two months of 2023 remained higher than the national average, reflecting a steady recovery of the province's economy, showed the latest data released by Henan Statistics Bureau on March 17.

记者3月17日获悉，河南省统计局发布了今年前2个月全省经济运行情况。最新数据显示，前2个月全省经济运行呈现稳定恢复回升态势，主要指标增速高于全国，实现良好开局。

 

Industrial production maintained a recovery trend. During the January-February period, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size in Henan increased by 4.9 percent year-on-year. And the added value of micro and small-sized industrial enterprises realized a fast growth of 6.8 percent over the previous year, 1.9 percentage points higher than that of those above the designated size. It is worth noting that among the province's 40 major industrial sectors, 29 achieved positive growth during the period, accounting for 72.5 percent of the total.

工业生产延续稳定恢复态势。1至2月份，全省规模以上工业增加值同比增长4.9%，其中小微型企业生产增长较快。全省规模以上小微型工业企业增加值同比增长6.8%,高于规模以上工业增加值增速1.9个百分点。全省40个工业行业大类中，有29个行业增加值实现同比增长，增长面达72.5%。

 

Fixed-asset investment rose steadily. Over the past two months, Henan's fixed-asset investment went up by 7.1 percent year-on-year, 0.4 percentage points higher than the full-year growth rate of 2022. The number of new projects commenced construction expanded by 84.0 percent from a year ago to 679. Besides, the province's industrial investment reported a year-on-year growth of 14.5 percent, with a growth rate of 7.4 percentage points higher than that of fixed-asset investment. Its investment in the manufacturing sector jumped by 17.1 percent from a year earlier, with a growth rate of 2.6 percentage points higher than that of industrial investment.

固定资产投资稳中有升。1至2月份，全省固定资产投资同比增长7.1%，比上年全年加快0.4个百分点。新开工项目679个，同比增长84.0%。全省工业投资同比增长14.5%，高于固定资产投资增速7.4个百分点。其中，制造业投资增长17.1%，高于工业投资增速2.6个百分点。

 

Consumption market showed a momentum of recovery. The total retail sales of social consumer goods expanded by 7.4 percent year-on-year to 439.991 billion yuan in the January-February period, with a growth rate of 9.4 percentage points higher than that of December, 2022.
